I hate that I keep getting these stupid emails from the fascists that the SAVE plan has ended and I will have to start paying back my loans, but then like, there’s no other repayment plans available right now and when I go to my loan servicer there’s no update there so it’s just starting to feel like they’re being mean on purpose.

Like I tried to get off the SAVE plan months ago because I wanted to start filing for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program but thanks to the fascists I literally couldn’t get off the plan because all the legalities were tied up in the courts and my provider couldn’t make any changes.

Anyone know if it’s totally lame and stupid if I buy flowers and leave them at the doorstep of the lady who was attacked on my block on Friday night? I don’t even know if she’s home from the hospital yet but someone is staying in her house, taking care of her cat and maybe her kid and it’s all just so awful to think about and flowers don’t do anything but I don’t know them at all so bringing food feels weird and performative but just walking by her door every day knowing I did nothing and can do nothing to help feels terrible terrible terrible terrible and I want to build community in this city but I don’t know where to start and I don’t want to offend anyone or freak them out and I’m moving out of this neighborhood soon anyway but shouldn’t she know that there are people here who care about what happened to her?
