Iêda (Helga Nemetik), ex-vencedora de concurso de beleza na juventude, sonha que sua filha, Martha (Maitê Padilha), siga a tradição da família e vença um concurso de Miss. No entanto, Martha não tem aptidão nem interesse para isso. Por outro lado, seu filho, Alan (Pedro David), parece ter mais talento para reivindicar a faixa e a coroa.
