If Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance had been allowed to complete, do you think it would have ended with the beginning of the movie? Or do you think the timeline would have deviated?

I think with Deet and Augra and Brea and Hup, it would be different. I think they would have defeated the Skeksis. I think the Mystics would get off their apathetic asses and either merged with the Skeksis or killed themselves. Neither belong on or within Thra.

It wouldn't be a utopia at the end, but a different path.

READ AND SKETCH #14: “A NEW PATH” BY ENDLESNIGHTLOCK

That’s funny how I annoy @endlessnightlock with “hey, you promised to finish “bright and beautiful” a lifetime ago bla bla bla” (because you know I don’t read unfinished stories) and then somehow I end up reading another story from her WHICH IS ALSO UNFINISHED. I don’t know why I was so sure it’s completed 😂. I found it has 23/25 chapters while reading third chapter and was absolutely shocked 😂. Well, what’s done is done and now I will annoy her with this one too. Haha.

And oh, that’s just a super quick watercolor picture I had to draw because how could I not. I mean. Peeta with Katniss? Ordinary. Peeta with a piglet? PRICELESS!

A New Path, Chapter 31

The day after aging out of the Reaping, Katniss crosses paths with Peeta. She thanks him for the bread and to her surprise a tentative friendship begins.

There's too much talk at the Hob and stray comments in the Seam or town for the Capitol to be unaware of the rebellion efforts. Last night's broadcast tells us that. Turning the fence back can't be directed solely at us. Too much is going on, and what we're doing isn't singularly significant. Diverting precious resources to keeping the fence on would be a lot of focus wasted on two barely adults who hardly know what they're doing. 

 

I have to wonder if any of us know what we're doing other than trying to survive.

 

"We'll have to hide the holo somewhere in the woods and hope we can come back for it later." I'm not as confident as I'd like to be that it's the right decision.
