A fun little thing I’ve never mentioned. Demi’s house is about the size of a normal little cabin. But all the counters and stuff are yordle height. The ceilings are high and a human can stand up in the house without problem though.
Critter Money Problems
"Pats!" Maine yelled frantically as he burst through the front door. He was wearing a brown fedora, a striped tie hung from his neck, and he carried a black briefcase.
Patty was in the kitchen stirring a strange pot of baby blue soup, a black apron with the words "There's no bitchin' in my fuckin' kitchen" printed in large white letters strapped to her.
"What's wrong?" she asked, visibly concerned.
"We have no money!" Maine announced. As he flailed his critter arms around, the briefcase flew open, scattering blank paper everywhere.
"Oh no!" Patty yelled, "How will we pay the tax human?"
The two looked at each other, hardly able to contain their laughter. Standing in the hallway was their neighbor, a human female with chestnut brown hair named Tessa. The young woman had always found the critters rather confusing, but tended to remain out of their lives. That was until they crashed through her window whilst being chased by ninja mice.
"What are you two talking about?" she asked, scratching her head.
"We're playing Human." Patty said, as if that was self-explanatory.
"It's a critter thing." Maine added, taking off his hat. "We make fun of human things like taxes, plodding and depressing lives, and war."
"You guys don't pay taxes?" the human inquired.
"Tessa." Patty flatly stated, "We're animals."
