bathtime is in many ways my ideal lolilo episode. lighthearted shenanigans that reveal truths about characters and relationships, hilarious partially improvised group scene, crumbs of pedrazar, and just a littllllle bit of well-timed angst at the end

Eight.
It must be eight. Who'd ever heard of a seven-legged spider before. Ridiculous. It just wouldn't do. But perhaps if luck was on his side, and if he stayed sharp, he would soon complete his masterpiece...
It was a Friday night, and the bar was populated by the usual sorts; chummy coworkers celebrating the end of the workweek, world-weary men and women attempting to drown their memories, lonely hearts hoping desperately for some spontaneous companionship, and others who were all too eager to grant those wishes.
A lone figure stood out amongst the crowd, despite his best efforts to remain inconspicuous as he occupied the stool at the far end of the bar. Dressed head to toe in black, he seemed right at home in the shadows, his leather-clad back hunched over the stained surface of the bar, his brow knit in concentration as he scribbled away on a cocktail napkin. He was so engaged by his drawing and his thoughts that it took him a moment to notice that someone was now occupying the seat beside him, and his black-rimmed eyes widened in surprise before he spoke.
"Oh, I don't recall seeing you here before, can I buy you a drink?"
"While I agree that Spinel merits sympathy, I do not think it is fair to cast all the blame on Pink. Did it not occur to anyone that destroying an entire innocent planet might be an overreaction. "
With all due respect, Pink could've explained why she doesn't want to be friends or her love cause it was overbearing or something. Let her be individual and learn how to make other friends that would understand Spinel, and love her, and appreciate her, and always be there for her. Instead of, Idk, ABANDONING HER FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS FOR A COLONY THAT SHE DIDN'T EVEN FINISHED CAUSE SHE REALIZED SHE JUST WANTED, get this, FRIENDSHIP AND LOVE.
Also, Spinel still would have the mindset of 6,000 years ago, and no doubt knew about planets being killed so more gems could be created. Diamonds and gems practically destroyed innocent planets for fun
