so we know that, allegedly, all traces of Welcome Home were p much scrubbed from everywhere, right? That, coupled with the obvious Eyes Motif gives me a sort of Theory.

Basically, it being wiped from everywhere is/was containment, and the search being kicked off is it managing to breach that to try and get a foothold to return. Whatever "it" is, be it Wally, Home, or something much bigger, gains power from attention. More attention, more power, more ways to get attention in a sort of feedback loop, the only way to break it being to essentially destroy any traces. With that seeming to have failed, it's trying to claw its way back to whatever former power it had, and given what we're told it was pretty damn popular.

Okay, so I've heard a lot of theorizing on Spamton Neo's theme song and how it has motifs from ghost characters and what it might mean.

And, like, Spamton Neo having motifs from Mettaton Neo's theme is pretty obvious based on the design similarities and possible connection there, but I've seen people driving themselves crazy trying to figure out why Spamton has motifs from Mad Dummy, and...
