now the show is over:( what are your top 10 Castle episodes? How do you feel about the finale?

oh god, I think I’ll start with the easier question first.

overall, I really liked the finale. I do think that they tried to pack too much into one episode in order to wrap things up in a neat little package. in my opinion, while both of them getting shot by Caleb would have been a phenomenal cliffhanger, that scene should have been cut and replaced with something a little less tragic. like say, them talking about trying for kids now that they’re safe, then flash forward *seven years later*. it would have saved a lot of confusion tbh. 

that being said, I loved that glimpse into their future. and I honestly believe it was the best they could have done, given that they obviously had more stories that they wanted to tell. but they gave us, and more importantly Castle and Beckett, a happy ending, and I can’t be anything but grateful for that (and look at how many amazing fanfics we already have from that finale).

as for top 10 episodes (keeping in mind that this is out of 173, and I may change my answer after I’ve done a full series rewatch), and this is really in no particular order:
