The horror begins. Dr. Pyranine’s serum is distributed through the city via various means. The citizens who go through the commodification process don’t know its happening, and any ill effects are brushed off. The commodification process changes your physically and behaviorally. But if you do not keep consuming the substance regularly, you begin to deteriorate, almost literally melting away and becoming a voracious creature of goop, bone, and sinew. These creatures will eat almost anything, primarily garbage and materials as that’s what they are able to access. Some of them take on the materials they consume… Including, well, other people. You no longer are a destructive senseless creature-at least appearance wise.
