365 Creatures: Week 3!

What an... almost normal week! I mean, look, you only have to ignore a few things for this to be completely normal. Sure, there's a whole dragon. And yeah, that penguin looks like it might have some extra features, but... Look! Snowflake eel with a snowflake!

15. Leafy Seadragon

Concept of drawing a leafy seadragon? Wonderful, they're beautiful little animals. Practice of drawing a leafy seadragon? ...There are so many leaves. But hey, at least this one will be fun to color!

16. Rhaegal

It's Appreciate a Dragon Day! Apperently. Listen, I'm not going to look a gift dragon in the mouth, I'll always draw a dragon. And Rhaegal is one of my favorite GoT dragons for sure, definitely of the original three and probably even including the HotD ones. Just a solid green 'n gold boi, done so dirty...

17. White Sturgeon

If I had a nickel for every time some kid called this a shark in an aquarium, I'd have an unknown amount of nickels in my pocket. Theoretically unlimited. Schrodinger's nickle, if you will... Anyway, I love sturgeons! A very pretty dragon fish, indeed.

18. Snowflake Moray Eel

Once again, concept of drawing a snowflake eel? So good, very pretty eel. Practive of drawing a snowflake eel? Those markings broke my brain. And my hand. I'm not excited to do this one traditionally...

19. Laughing Kookaburra

Menace bird! We love a menace bird. So beautiful. So loud. So eats-small-animals-whole... what else could you want? This one is particularly fluffy looking, because that was my favorite reference. I like a floofy bird, what can I say?

20. Little Blue Penguin

I found out that little blues were also called Fairy Penguins, and I knew exactly what to do. I was always going to do a little blue penguin for National Penguin Day, but this? This is a special little guy. This might hex you in a beachside forest. But frankly? Worth it.

21. Red Squirrel

And last up for the week, it's Squirrel Appreciation Day! And you know what? I do appreciate squirrels. Listen, I live in a desert. We don't really have urban animals. So when we travel to places with squirrels, we appreciate squirrels. We take pictures and videos of squirrels. Squirrels are fun, and cute, and deserve the best.

And that does it for Week 3! We're almost a whole month in!

Today i did THEE most stereotypical ADHD thing

I was ranting to my mom about how i can never remember what i was supposed to do with my arms during ballet, even when she had repeated it twice or so, when, out of the corner of my eye, i saw it: a squirrel on the fence outside our window.

I froze in my tracks and did what any normal human being would do in this event. I said: “squirrel!”, because who wouldn’t want to know about a squirrel right outside our window?

So anyway i became a stereotype today
