#30. against the wall kiss.

Weeks. It’s been weeks since Greylyn has gotten to see Manon, and the first time she finally does again, it’s in the middle of a stuffy Order meeting. She waits patiently, half paying attention the whole time. All she wants to do is have a moment with her. But she listens to Manon report what she’d learned to the Order, and her gaze remains on her for the duration.

The meeting ends. Greylyn leaves with the others, but doesn’t go far from the door in Grimmauld Place. She says goodbye to Alastor and sends him on his way with Kingsley and Tonks. It’s a little bit of a risk here, of all places, but still. Manon steps out of the meeting room, and Greylyn catches her arm, pulling her down the hall a bit before pressing her against the wall to kiss her.

“Sorry,” she says softly when she pulls back, looking up at Manon. She smiles, and kisses her again one more time. “Been wanting to do that all meeting.”
