Izuku was tired. His bones felt heavy and he just wanted to lay down. He wanted the muzzle off his face and wanted the cuffs off his hands. The muzzle on his face rubbed the scars wrong, causing him even more pain. He hated the way his feet felt. His claws had been filed down to the quick to make it fair for the others. Izuku's jaw hurt and all he could taste was blood. It wasn't even his own blood and that's another thing he hated.

He couldn't remember how he ended up in this place, but it had been years. He knew that. He watched as the watchers got older and some even stopped showing up. His handler was gray now. Not the vibrant red that he had once been. There was a new face in the watchers.

“Tonight's fight to the death!” The Watchers screamed, cutting off the announcer. “The Dragon against our challenger! Avone!” The cage lifted.

Soulbound

Soul bonds are weird, that's what Izuku knows. There are four types; soulmates, parental, Platonic, and sibling. Most kids pop out with their parents' bond wrapped around their wrists to their elbows. The two colors twist around each other, making intricate designs.

For parents, their children's designs go on the left arm. Different colors combine and make shapes; some parents have the designs spell the child's name out.

So when Izuku was born with black and gray twinning up to his elbow, his parents were sad. Their minds went to adoption as they might die in the future. So they spent every day trying to soak up their son's affection. Izuku's third birthday hit and they were confused on why nothing had happened. They watched as an orange explosion materialized on Izuku's arm, just as a green cat materialized on Bakugo Katsuki's arm.

The death of a teacher is something that no one can really explain. Not when that teacher is basically a parent to their class. It never helps when the class sees the teacher as a parent. Then having their kids in the same class.

The door to the dorms opened and everyone looked at the entrance way to see who. The walking skeleton known as All Might looked at the class. They all had red and puffy eyes. How could they not, Aizawa was their father figure. Even for those who have fathers, he was a second dad.

To Hitoshi, Izuku and Katsuki, he was the only parent that they had.

“I want to run.” They both looked at Izuku, stopping what they were doing.

“Is it time for the old plan?” Katsuki asked as he walked over and sat next to me. The old plan was an escape plan that they had made in case one of their ‘capures’ tried to come back. Hitoshi still has hideouts all over the city, they'd go there sometimes.

“I think so.” Toshi mumbled as he leaned against the wall, looking out the window. He looked truly tired, physically and emotionally. They all just wanted a break. Izuku hates having people breathing down his neck everyday.
