1. What’s the first media (movie, book, show, game, etc) that made you want to do MORE? (read/write fics, draw/make art, manips, discuss meta beyond “oh man, did you see the last installment?)
Lord of the Rings. I first read the books when I was ten, and I was hooked. Even before I associated it with fanfic, I just thought about them constantly. I read and reread them, I found other books analyzing them and devoured those too, I daydreamed all my waking hours away. This whole world was real in my mind, and it was glorious.
2. What about that first media has stuck with you the most since, regardless of whether it’s been days, months, years?
It's not just a story. There's lore and history and languages. It's so easy to lose yourself there. And, as cliche as it is, for me it kind of feels like home.
3. What one thing are you most proud of?
Umm. My languages, I think. Even though I rarely get the chance to use them, and I'm not even sure I would have the confidence to do so if the opportunity arose, I think knowing three languages (and learning a fourth!) is pretty fucking cool.
I changed my answer. My badassery. I look tiny and innocent, and I'm generally pretty calm, but I'm kind of like the hulk. You won't like me when I'm angry XD
4. If you were a ranger, who is/are your ideal co-pilot(s) and what would your Jaeger be called?
So, I have a few people I would like for my Jaeger co-pilot, but for the purposes of this exercise, I'm going to say Chelsea because we could call our Jaeger 'London Calling' and if you don't think that's the best you can just get out of my face.
5. What would we do if we hung out together for an entire day?
Get some tattoos! Watch the Hobbit, make fun of Tauriel, eat pop tarts and have an awesome time. And butts. Just... butts.
6. Who or what is your biggest inspiration?
My mom. We definitely have some tense moments between us - especially now that I'm older - but she's still my hero. She held it together when my dad walked out on us, and made sure my brother and I lost nothing in our lives. And I've always been able to count on her to stand up for me. So even though we disagree on something, I definitely hope I'll be like her.
7. What do you daydream about most often?
Butts. Usually me in different lives. Sometimes it's simple things like getting the job I want (or the boy I want XD) or sometimes it's really intricate like being an avenger, or living in Middle Earth.
8. If you could meet anyone in the world you never have before, who and why?
Well, I was going to go with a deep and meaningful answer, but instead I'm just going to say Richard Armitage, so I could get him to ask out my mom and make her whole year.
9. Are you a nightowl or a sunstrider?
100% nightowl. I've been able to get into the habit of going to bed early when I"m consistently getting up, but I've never been going at waking up. And it's nothing for me to stay awake until 5 or 6 in the morning.
10. What is your beverage of choice?
Coca-cola. I'm ashamed to admit that I have a bit of a coke addiction XD.
(Unless we're talking alcoholic beverages, in which case it's a White Russian.)
11. Tell me your thoughts on butts. (Bonus points if you tell me your thoughts on Fili’s butt in particular)
Butts are best. Seriously, I love me some butts (especially when it's mine, fuck yes please) and Fíli'sˆbutt? Fíli's butt is round and perfect and delicious and I literally want to sink my teeth into it. And then tease him until he's begging.
