@a-certain-rubillite The sun was beaming on earth on this fine, sunny day. The birds were chirping, and there was a softly warm breeze blowing against the sky and the ground. It was beautiful to Rhyolite; beautiful enough to render her speechless in the middle of a field. She stood there, feet in the green grass, with her arms reached out to brace the wind. Eartg was surely a beautiful place, full of life and mystery. It was overwhelming enough to stop Rhyolite from continuing her daily "adventurings". She was completely overwhelmed by emotion. But it was good; it was a pleasant feeling to say the least.

♦ - quirks/hobbies headcanon

As she spent more time on Earth, Obsi wanted the feeling of space travel. She became a kind of speed freak, the faster the better. And humans had always invented something that could make her go faster than before.

♥ - family headcanon

A Gem didn’t have a family, but Obsi did have her commander, Zircon. Obsi couldn’t help but feel that Zircon was watching over her, first as her captain, and then as the commander of the Pyroxene Scout Division. She would admit it to anyone else, but Obsi was devastated when she learned that Zircon was shattered.

Obsi is rarely happier than when she plays a game. When she was looking for a challenge from humans after victories in marksmenship events, she had found herself in a dice game in which she couldn’t win a single time, even with her ability to discern where the dice would land. Despite her constant losses, she was glad that even a Gem whose specialty was motion could lose to a human in a game with a thrown object. She keeps that die with her even today.

Well, no. Why would it? You probably just miss your home a lot. Which, I can understand. Even Pearl misses being in space sometimes! How could I be mad for something like that? It’s perfectly reasonable!!! Peridot seems to miss it too? 

I just. Hope that while you’re on earth you decide that helping your home to destroy it MIIIGHTTTTT not be the best thing to do!
