Toronto, ever the hotbed of superb musical activity, is the residence of these two hotly tipped brothers, SWANES, who recently shared a well titled new single named Cozy. Producer Stefan Bildy and guitarist/vocalist Michael Bildy utilize a downtempo hip hop beat, sleek electronica, and woozy simmering R&B pop to seduce our ears. Speaking about the the dark tantalizing song, Michael says of its creation: “Stefan produced the track and sent it to me to add just a hook, but there turned out to be a lot to do with it. I was playing it the next day while I was walking home and the melody started to emerge, almost by itself. The pile on the desk didn’t get any smaller today, God. And that’s just one measure of what didn’t happen today. I wish I could get the pile to stop nagging me, though I know that “nagging” is all about me, not about the pile.

I also know that the things that did happen today were important and timely and I think I brought my A-game to them, and for that I am thankful. And for all the ways you have nurtured and coached and fostered my A-game, I am thankful. Amen.
