[1/2] Hi! I've been looking for a copy of a Tumblr fic that got deleted with the blog. It was called Betrothal by user sidekickinit (ao3 minusoneday). Derek and Stiles are arranged to be married bc Stiles takes Allison's place in the betrothal. Before he gets married he wants to have one last fling, and he meets Derek. They end up sleeping together and falling for each other, but neither of them is free to be in a relationship so they agree to let each other go without saying why.
[2/3] When Stiles meets the person he is engaged to, it turns out to be Derek, who he's already in love with. Summary is as follows: “I’m trying to look out for you,” Scott says oh-so-quietly, misery heavy in his words. “Your absences… they haven’t gone unnoticed. People are starting to talk. Whoever it is you’re sneaking out to see - you have to end it.”“How do you know there’s a someone?” Stiles asks, careful not to meet Scott’s gaze. “How do you know I’m not just hooking up?”
[3/3] “You smell the same every time you come back,” Scott says. “And you - you look like you’re in - you look like you’re happy.”Somehow, Stiles doesn’t think that’s the way Scott meant for that sentence to end.'--- loved this fic, would be eternally grateful if you know how to find/access a copy of it!
