Summary: Pledge brothers Stiles and Scott start a prank war with Derek Hale's fraternity.

Comments: Oh, this was a read. I do love Stiles, and him as a freshman leading a range of truly devious pranks is a delight. It takes a bit before Derek realizes he's crushing on Stiles, and it takes Stiles even longer to realize what's going on, but they get there eventually by the end of the year.

Smut is light, but there. There's more in the companion fic that's from Derek's POV if that's your jam. There's more from the others in that fic too - Issac and Boyd and Erica. Issac and Boyd lead the fraternity Stiles and Scott pledge, and clock Derek's feelings early.

[1/2] Hi! I've been looking for a copy of a Tumblr fic that got deleted with the blog. It was called Betrothal by user sidekickinit (ao3 minusoneday). Derek and Stiles are arranged to be married bc Stiles takes Allison's place in the betrothal. Before he gets married he wants to have one last fling, and he meets Derek. They end up sleeping together and falling for each other, but neither of them is free to be in a relationship so they agree to let each other go without saying why.

[2/3] When Stiles meets the person he is engaged to, it turns out to be Derek, who he's already in love with. Summary is as follows: “I’m trying to look out for you,” Scott says oh-so-quietly, misery heavy in his words. “Your absences… they haven’t gone unnoticed. People are starting to talk. Whoever it is you’re sneaking out to see - you have to end it.”“How do you know there’s a someone?” Stiles asks, careful not to meet Scott’s gaze. “How do you know I’m not just hooking up?”
