#3026: Mom's Dry Noodle Shiitake Zhajiang - Taiwan

Finished (click to enlarge). Added cucumber, Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, and carrot. Noodles came out perfectly - flat and broad with a really great chew to them. They were perfect for the flavor - bit of mushroom throughout and a nice savory sauce. I expected an onslaught of shiitake flavor (which I'm not usually keen on in other varieties)  and found a nice flavor that had a great balance and texture. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars.  EAN bar code 4717011150247.

未單身 (Pseudo-Single, Yet Single) by A-Lin (阿玲). 2017.

Aboriginal Taiwanese pop singer of Amis descent A-Lin initially achieved recognition with her debut in 2006, and was referred to as the next A-Mei (another well-known aboriginal singer). She gained increasingly widespread popularity following her appearance on Season 3 of 我是歌手 (I Am a Singer) in 2015.

未單身 (lit. “not single) is a title track of her latest album which she also co-produced. The music video is directed by Outerspace Leo and Yao Ku Chen and stars A-Lin and Wallace Huo. The contemporary love song deals with contradictions in a modern relationship wherein a woman is neither dependent nor independent, wanting to be with her partner but also wishing to have personal space. The music video is shot in the style of a single take and uses labels and signs as props to highlight salient emotions and components of the song lyrics.
