I am about 3 years old I weigh approximately 70.00 lbs. I have been at the shelter since Sep 11, 2020 Temp test: 09/22/20 15:19 Temp tested with A507155 Both dog did well no aggression seen dh Staff notes: 09/23/20 Took out to play yard this AM. Dog is very high energy & playful however is very high energy & no manners. Dog jumped up on tables, would jump up in my face & headbutt me. Hard to get leash to return to kennels & difficult to get back into kennel. Dog does not understand correction or commands yet. JS ** Dog will do best with an experienced handler. Adopters need to have time to train him. 09/17/20 High energy & stimulated!! Nice dog, but really needs behavior training...JD 09/15/20 Moved pet form C12 to B12 .Pet is overly stimulated with all the other barking. Pet has extremly high energy & is not well at leashing or walking on leash. He needs tons of training or an experienced owner to handle him. He is loud in kennels as well. Kv 09/14/20 Needs a lot of training. will jump on me & pull on the leash when I walked him. He will push against kennel door to get out. didnt show aggression but is very strong & wasnt mouthy at this time. not recommended for families with small children. needs someone active and that has a large yard for him to play in. Daily exercise as well. -sc 09/12/20 11:04 Becoming more vocal in kennel & wants out. Allows to be fed & cleaned. Due to him wanting out & being strong unable to get out of kennel. Meet Jenner... he is an energetic fella with lots of potential. No one has taken the time in his past life to show him the ropes, teach him basic obedience behaviors and reward him when he follows direction. In a shelter, dogs don’t have an outlet for their energy - they are kenneled the majority of the day, everyday. They don’t have constant human interaction, toys, attention or love, as want & need. If you were behind bars, looking at the same 3 walls every minute of every day, you too would be stressed, frustrated and call out for attention, and help. That’s what Jenner is doing.
