12 and 20 for both of your travelers

Oooh, thank you so much for the ask! :D 12. Besides Nerissa, did they have any special relationship with another sibling? How did that go?

Sabina Peg'asi:

So, despite her mother, Queen Tal'jean, trying to keep her apart from her half-siblings, Sabina wanted to befriend all her siblings and get to know them better. Which often ended with disappointment and hurt because she received a lot of cold shoulders. Maristela, whose mother is Queen Nikolle, was one of the first of her siblings who saw her trying and struggling to make connections and saw a kindred spirit. So she accepted Sabina's efforts to be friends and has been protective and supportive of her younger half-sister ever since.

Besides my other Peg'asi OC, Sabina definitely looked up to her older brother Sorenn, while he tried to make sure his sister's enthusiasm and passion for learning was never quashed. His decisions and his overall character inspired Sabina to want to contribute to the world, even though she wasn't sure how. Sorenn was the one who pointed her on the path of healing, to get more in touch with their Tilaari heritage.

Maristela Peg'asi:

Similar to Sabina, Maristela did try to branch out and know more of her siblings but after a few years of rebuffs and disappointment, she gave up and just kept to herself. Until Sabina came along and tried to bribe her with snacks from the kitchen. Maristela saw how hard Sabina was trying to bridge gapes between the family and also a little bit of herself in Sabina before she turned a little jaded. So these two half-sisters bonded quickly.

However, there was another sibling Maristela have a slightly more chaotic but still fun relationship with: Arlo. They definitely liked shit-talking and roasting each other (like he would find a picture of a sea serpent and go, "Look, I found you a husband!" and she'd throw a shoe at him) but if someone else talked bad about the other, they immediately got defensive. Sure, Maristela knew Arlo could be a shit sometimes (definitely felt Celest was a bad influence on him when those two actually teamed up to do something), but he did reawakened her mischievous side when she was younger and never ratted her out when she did something she wasn't suppose to.

20. Who is their choice for a romantic partner? What attracted them to that person? Do they have a lot in common? What do they do together for fun?

Sabina Peg'asi:

So I bounced several possible partners around for Sabina: June, Ryona, and Cal. Sabina was taken in with June's sweetness for her well-being (until her identity was reveal and he distanced himself from her, Sabina decided to give him space and make sure he saw little of her as possible) but bonded with Ryona over her healing abilities, travelling experience, and knowledge. Sabina wasn't sure if she wanted to be just like Ryona or be with her. And Calderon...she understood where he was coming from. He was the captain, he had to think about the lives of the many. She couldn't be a burden so she was resolved to change that. In the end, during her whole identity crisis and at her lowest, Cal actually helped pull her out of her funk by first telling her stories about Sorenn or some of his travels. He was so patient with her and his gruffness never bothered her, she found it rather endearing. So I went with the "grumpy and the sunshine trope" for these two. XD

Cal and Sabina are opposites in personality (like he was more practical while Sabina is more emotionally driven) but they both are principled individuals. And they do like a lot of quieter or less intense activities were they can unwind a relax (like reading together). Oftentimes, Sabina will show off her singing range and sing for him while they're doing mundane things together or it's just Cal sitting in a chair, listening to her. They are still learning what it means to be together but they are loving the journey so much.

Maristela Peg'asi:

So Maristela did have a past relationship with Vexx but ends up falling for Damon (angsty I know). Since she had a somewhat decent relationship with Arlo, Maristela is use to dealing with snarky boys so she wasn't afraid to bite back and show off her fangs (figure of speech). Damon loved riling her up, to see how she'd react or if she'd remain calm and deliver a scathing line at him. But she enjoyed how he challenged her, forcing to decide if she wants to change or to the stay, and help her survive in this whole new world. There was so much sexual tension when he taught her some basic self defense and handed her a knife to train with. After that, it was all over for Maristela. She always wanted to learn how to fight for real and Damon made that dream come true.

Once Maristela got better with daggers and fighting, I can totally see them sparring to let off steam and tease each other. But something more relaxing, Maristela enjoys singing just like Sabina so she'll be humming or singing to Damon while he's just relaxing and "resting his eyes"--just for his ears only. Besides that, Damon and Maristela would also play some card games to see who can win by "cheating" the best. Vexx taught her some tricks in the past so Maristela is able to hold her own--for the most part. Damon still mostly wins, much to her annoyance. XD
