Both aren’t quite the type to be taking photos or dressing up but I’m sure there’s one picture they took that’s framed on Locust’s nightstand. For both werewolves being a little intimidating and somewhat stoic, they can have smaller soft moments. As a treat!

Roe (purple outline) belongs to @barbwritesstuff !! Roe is a character for Barb’s interactive fiction game called Blood Moon! ;; seriously so so so good and I totally recommend reading/playing if you can! It’s a really exciting and super fun story about werewolves and supernaturals and I think I might be hyperfixating on it lol

do not use my OCs as your OCs - says every artist and creator, ever

Today someone messaged me about this piece by Eldrtchmn and asked If i could send them the file so they could use it as their OC

Hey man I loved the art you commissioned and I have a question do you have a full body version of the character without the skeleton mask like in the gif? I was hoping to use that version for my next oracle playthrough.

By saying that they know I commissioned this piece, that means they know I paid money for it. I saved up, I came up with an idea, I gathered references, I waited my turn on the waitlist, and I worked back and forth with this artist to develop MY character. Not yours.

By specifying that this is for their next oracle playthrough, they indicate that they’re basing their concept of their character on my oracle. Basically making their version of my character and trying to RP her.

Halide was my first ever PF character, her history is intensely personal and related to multiple campaigns I’ve played with her. The idea of someone thinking they could play her or “do her better” or do her in their own way, while wearing her face that, again, I paid for, is repulsive.

Never, ever, do this.

Don’t tag your own OCs in reblogs of an artist’s OCs. I see this on my dash all the time, artists feeling looked-over, forgotten, unimportant, because someone thinks their very personal and dear ORIGINAL CHARACTER might look like someone from critical role if you squint.

Oh yeah that’s infuriating. I had someone reblog my piece with an OC of mine, who is a self insert designed off of pictures of me. So they basically reblogged my face and tagged it as their own OC, ignoring the fact that I tagged it with the name of my OC. CHERRY ON TOP people reblogging from them tagged it with the name of that person’s OC. Literally my face.

If you really like mine or other artist’s art - commission us to draw your OC. Stuff like this is really disrespectful. You are not ‘appreciating’ our art this way. This is disrespect towards our creations.

Even worse if it’s a commission someone payed for and you’re blatantly stealing it for your own use.
