Well, the Aces blew out the Cubs. The Cubs’ starting pitcher just didn’t have it tonight and was lit up by Aces batters. Once he was pulled from the game things were more even, but the damage had been done, and the Aces won it 13-5.
I mentioned there would be fireworks after the game. Figured I’d share them with you so you can see that, as I mentioned earlier, they aren’t bad...but they’re definitely no Disney Fireworks Spectacular©:
SEE THIS IS HOW THEY KEEP SHOWING US: SWEEPS AND FAKS
These guys are not on the up and up
Theodore Fak and Sweeps are talking.
They start off ok.
Talking about the AAA baseball league etc. he says he wanted to bulk up and that's why he took prohibited substances (really bad idea).
Ok fine.
Even though I don't believe he only did it two times.
But thenFAK said you're a left fielder and Sweeps confirms
Then he says hitting the balls and stuff
Sweeps confirms.
I'm watching that in disbelief. What left fielder you know is out there hitting the balls?
These inconsistencies in the stories are put there to show us, what's real and what is not.
Obviously, these two are NOT on the level
Man who pines for ‘the good old days’ requests minor league baseball team celebrate straight pride
Midlander Zachary Shaw recently took to the comment section of a Great Lakes Loons pride month celebration post to question why the minor league baseball team never celebrates ‘straight pride month’.
“I think it’s a legitimate question,” said Shaw. “Why should we celebrate this and why can’t we promote more wholesome relationships?”
Shaw, who was arrested last year for domestic violence, went on to say that rainbows offend him.
“People used to shut up about their sexual orientation,” said Shaw.
When asked if he believed people used to remain quiet about their orientation because throughout most of history they were ostracized and celebrations are now commonplace in part to fight against bigotry, Shaw seemed to struggle with the meaning of words beyond two syllables.
“Look, I just wish we could go back to the good old days,” said Shaw.

It’s always nice to visit older stadiums, even ones that have had some improvements. These stadiums give you a feel of baseball from year’s past. Pawtucket, Rhode Island has a stadium like that. McCoy Stadium, originally built in 1942 and renovated in 1999, seats more than 10,000 fans in a bowl-like stadium. The fences have some distance to them and, depending where you sit, you have a pretty…
