was just tensioning everything so i could start weaving and uh there was a loud noise and the back roller seems to no longer be connected to the friction brake :| like... the brake is engaged but the roller is moving freely. am very resolutely not panicking

eta: fiddled with the other parts of the tension system for a while and it seems to be holding now. still very uneasy...

#it has never done this before so i dont know how to fix it #like maybe a part just came undone #(speaking of the front roller keeps falling off #tightened it with a screwdriver again so maybe that will help)#or maybe a part broke which would be very bad #bc getting a new one would take a while and also i would probably have to fuck with the warp to fix it #aaaaagh.#weaving
