God the episode was both cathartic and messed up for me. Ever since V5 I’ve been trying to think of why Salem would want Ruby alive. It made no sense since wouldn’t killing the girl with the power to one-shot the Grimm if she learns to use her power dangerous? I could only guess that there was something about the eyes that we didn’t know and Salem needed them flr her plans. Not immediately, hence why she never sent anyone after Ruby directly after Tyrian failed, but she needed the Eyes for something.

Now we know why. And it’s even more horrifying than I had imagined. Why did I want answers again?!

With arms crossed, an exasperated sigh, and a disappointed headshake, before him, his boyfriend lays half-awake on the grass looking completely worn out and . And judging from the lifted headband to reveal both of their eyes, he overused his sharingan... again. Fortunately there are no noticeable injuries from Kakashi’s private training but he was damn lucky that Kabuto found him. Of course Gai also keeps watch of him, but he’s away on a mission with his students and they’ve been gone for a day now. 

He kneels down to give Kakashi a gentle pat to the back of their head to mimic what could’ve been a dope slap, “By now, you should’ve known not to overuse that eye of yours but you still went overboard anyways. You goddamn idiot.”  

Despite Kabuto’s annoyed stare, the jonin responds with only a apologetic tired smile and the medic slightly blushes and scoffs with a pout, “I’ll help you get home and get you cleaned up. You’re lucky that I had the time to check up on you. I swear, you’re like a child sometimes...”  

Grabbing him by the arms, he pulls him up in a sitting position with a grunt. He puts his shoulder on Kakashi’s chest as he carefully lifts him up with their legs and hips on one shoulder and the rest of the upper body on the other. He hooks his arms on the arm and leg of the jonin to keep him from slipping off of him. Kakashi’s head hangs low and lolling around, like a human sized ragdoll.  Kabuto grimaces with a frown as he could feel their sweat covered clothes damping his own cleaned ones. Great, now he’s probably going to need a shower as well. 

Taking a deep breath, he decides to take the few steps forward back to the village until he manages to pick up the speed enough to be able to dash through the trees.  

“Once we get home, you better stay in bed.”

GUYS! GUYS! We found Snowball! The cutie is at my apartment and she is so small! She is just the right size and everything! Fits right into my pocket! So soft! So sweet! This ghost is so happy! XD It’s way too late to be a Christmas present but I hope @mercowe loves her!
