The last one in the saga! Myne got too impatient and now is galloping to Ferdinand’s rescue!
I know she looks a lot more like a child than an adult in this one, but I didn’t realise that till late enough in the painting process that I couldn’t change it. Ah well. I like how the horse looks though! I really wanted to paint a horse galloping, and this was just going to be a throwaway practice picture, but I liked how it turned out enough to give it a rider. And thus the series was born.
:D
I did not alas, paint a picture of the reunion, you’ll have to imagine that for yourselves. Or you could imagine her finding his dead body if that’s too cheerful for you. Whichever.
:)
if there isn’t a stop on this tour where everyone in pit surprises harry by dressing up as bananas, then we have failed.

Creamaster Cycle reference in Nicola Barker’s Clear: A Transparent Novel
close your eyes (give into the night)
Sometimes, late at night when he can’t sleep—usually because for some reason he can’t be at Eddie’s—he remembers how it felt to face It.
He’s sure the others had felt it too, the triumph from watching the damn thing crawl into it’s hole in the ground like a kicked dog. The adrenaline he’d felt after realizing they’d beat it, for now, anyway.
In that moment, he’d felt six feet tall and unstoppable.
He knows the others had felt that way too, knows it in his bones in the same way he knows a lot of things about his fellow Losers.
