i can say so much about M3GAN and a lot of the themes and other like underlying things like.

Gemma burying herself in her work - her entire life is centered in her work even when she is now a caretaker for her niece. So, she uses her work focus to make a temporary fix for her overall issue.

M3GAN, who is her work, was someone Gemma ALSO was taking care of, is dropped onto Katie.

And because M3GAN is a by product of Gemma, M3GAN's love language is ALSO coded in her 'work'. She was made to 'protect' and 'keep happy'. So she goes REALLY HARD into those things, especially because it's really all she was told and taught to do.

And how she confronts Gemma on how she didn't just abandon Katie, but also HER. How she literally says "you expected me to just figure all this out on my own."

Like it RLLY is hard to see M3GAN as truly 'evil', but really she is just a child abandoned, she's a creation just trying to do what she was created and told to do with vague instructions, to then get punished when trying to do what she's told.

How Katie is the ONE thing that gives M3GAN purpose, reason. Their friendship, their family. Katie is all M3GAN has, just like how Katie thinks M3GAN is all she has. In the end her telling Katie basically like I'LL take care of you and not abandon you like Gemma did to BOTH of us

There was a solidarity in shared 'trauma' with Katie there so her denying M3GAN truly had to hit her so hard because, again, that's all she had!

She is it's own Frankenstein case and stuff

How she was supposed to be a mass produced 'best friend' for many children, only for the first of her kind to end up having been abandoned and shunned by both creator and the one she was made for
