OpenSimSim lecture at EcoSummit 2011:
http://ecosummit.net/articles/daniel-dendra-opensimsim-open-source-design-and-architecture
"The architect and open source design advocate Daniel Dendra talks at Ecosummit 2011 about the need to share design and architecture know-how globally using the power of the Internet to accelerate the smart green transformation of the built environment. Daniel is founding partner of OpenSimSim and anOtherArchitect. I like Daniel’s ideas as I am currently thinking about a new Internet platform for prefab build-to-order smart green buildings. Reusing the best ideas for cost-efficient smart green buildings while integrating the best materials, designs and appliances – that’s a powerful vision."
In October 2011 at the International Tourism Forum in Yaroslavl anOtherArchitect together with it´s Russian partner TDI (Territory Development Institute) were presenting a conceptual study on the city of Pereslavl-Zalessky. The study was commissioned by Rusresorts and Corporation of Development "Golden Ring".
In early December 2011 the final study will be released and available for download on the website of RusResort : http://rusresorts.com/
COPENHAGEN LECTURE - SAXO BANK invited by Martin Professional
At a recent lecture about the potential of interactive and dynamic lighting in cities I was showing also the example above. Doing some more research on the topic I found this interesting interview with Golan Levin and Zach Lieberman (creator of night lights).
The Art of Coding, The Coding of Art is definitely an interesting read ...

TWEETx Installation at TEDxHamburg
In collaboration with Kollison and Martin Professional (both Aarhus, Denmark) we installed this interactive LED scrren at the TEDx conference in Hamburg.
At any technology orientated conference such as TED there is an invisible Twitter-scape broadcasting the event live to the WWW. The density of this virtual landscape is usually hidden to people not using Twitter.
TWEETx is an interactive wall that reacts on the tweets that were written in the lecture hall and about the TED conference and displays it visual to the audience.
Thanks to Rune from Kollision for putting together this great movie.
HEDRONICS ON RUSSIAN TV
Today I found this video clip from a TV show of the Russian First channel where Michail Shirvindt is explaining what design is.
At 2:00min one of the first HEDRONICS (2010) prototypes is shown next to the EGG lounge chair by Arne Jacobsen (1958). At 2:44min the moderator is talking about the HEDRONICS. A lamp is lighting the chair from the inside giving more emphasis on the perforation. Michail says: "THIS chair is very beautiful!!" before moving on to the Wiggle Side Chair by Frank Gehry (1972). At that time he did not know that we will win the prize for BEST DESIGN OBJECT at the ArchMoscow exhibition.
Полностью соглашусь с Михаилом Ширвиндтом: ЭТОТ стул очень красивый! What an honor to be presented in between this two design classics on Russian State TV ;)
Imaginary Space is an experiment into the interpretation of architectural tectonics into body movement. The project was realized for the ArchMoscow 2011 NEXT exhibition of anOtherArchitect. The exhibition won the prize for the best international exhibition at ArchMoscow.
