One time my parents called police on me during autistic meltdown because they “Were not going to tolerate this kind of behavior anymore” They told police that was “psychotic and dangerous” police brought me to psych ward and was stuck for 22 days. I had no way communicate because phone was taken from me and my communication cards were “safety hazard” and none of techs knew sign. My parents didn’t tell them I autistic so they hung onto “psychotic and dangerous” label and ended up restraining me + giving me medicine every meltdown had there instead of trying to help. and was treated with no patience or kindness.
and I brought the bowl! :D
(Also hate what proves about assumptions they make about people coming into hospital during actual psychotic episode based on way they treated me after assuming that was in psychosis)
