I try to lie but my alibi waivers:

We are grateful to have seen the AACM@60! show at the Walker on Saturday night. Wadada Leo Smith and Amina Claudine Myers performed works composed by Smith and it was incredible.
The music fell somewhere between modern classical and jazz and both the horn and the piano were really emotional and the two sat almost facing each other and you could feel the unspoken conversation while they were playing.
What a gift.
