Okay so I want to share this with y'all because I think it's really cute... I moved right when Pokémon GO came out, and now I'm a couple few hundred miles away from all my friends. I noticed a good chunk of everyone I knew was playing and the same sized chunk of people I knew were making fun of it, my boyfriend included. I hadn't started playing because of this, and I like things to update a couple times before I get it in hopes of having a better run than the bad reviews (works well actually). The other day though talking to @the-automaton-assassinn made me curious enough to download and start playing it....in secret. While the boyfriend and I were driving around he noticed the inconspicuous map view that the game mostly plays from. He asked if I was following on Google maps (I do this often on road trips, but we were just going through town) and I hesitate...."uhmmm...n-nooo..." "Oh. Oh shit." He caught on immediately. Later that day he was going up and down the stairs constantly checking on the brisket he was smoking and asked for me to help him the next time he went down. We get to the kitchen and he pulls me close, holds up his phone...and asks how to throw a pokéball at a starter. I almost fucking cried right there. Purely because I was playing, he decided to start too and is almost better than me 😉 almost (I just got the level 9 and he's hot on my heels half way through level 8 after starting a day later) AND, not to mention, he's having a blast, asking if I want to go on walks, and "where should we set up for a half hour with that lure", "I really fucking want that cat*!", "where IS that guy**??" Considering the age gap I didn't know what to expect..but I also wasn't sure how much fun I'd be having alone and especially with him. Idk TL;DR my boyfriend was a poké-hater before I started playing and now he gets jealous over the Pokémon I have that he doesn't. Also, all skeptics haven't started playing and wouldn't be making so many jokes if they had. *meowth (keeps hanging around but not appearing) **Pikachu (doing the SAME DAMN THING

- Remus is head of security, and no one can understand why- People give him crap every day because he’s this thin little noodley guy and no one knows how he moved up to head of security- Sirius is a brand new out-of-the-box ensign on the command path and despite the fact that managed to get through all those years at the academy, he’s still a little shit- So one day Sirius starts giving Remus shit about being head of security, telling him he would be a MUCH BETTER security officer than Remus could ever be- Remus gets sick of his shit and finally says “Want to prove it?”- SO SO they go to a training area, and they do their stretches and Sirius is cracking wise- Once the fight starts Remus has him on the mat in seconds- Sirius asks for a rematch, and he ends up on the mat again, this time with a broken nose- Sirius tries to complain and Remus just shrugs, wiping the blood off his hands and tells Sirius where the Sick Bay is and he smirked, throwing the towel over to Sirius and walking away- After Sirius gets his nose healed he swallows his pride and goes to find Remus, asking him if he’d help train him- Remus smiled and tells him ‘Of course’ and it’s the start of a great friendship- They kiss for the first time after a mission where Remus comes back with a giant gash on his head- Remus can’t help himself, he’s just so glad to be alive he doesn’t care if Sirius reacts badly- Luckily, Sirius really really doesn’t mind.
