One Day Gone.
“Has anyone seen Y/N?” Tony questioned his voice laced with concern.
“No, she was supposed to meet us for coffee, but didn’t show...” JJ spoke, sharing a look with Emily.
“We just figured she slept in.” Emily piped up, frowning slightly while furrowing her eyebrows together in confusion.
“I-”
“Alright, listen up and gather round,” Gibbs spoke not tearing his gaze from the case files in his hands. “We need to split up.”
Everyone hummed in agreement as they listened intently.
“Since we’re here together, we’re going together,” Gibbs spoke sternly. “I’ll be teaming up with Rossi and Hotch.”
For the first time since the meeting had started, he lifted his gaze. Glancing around the group of agents, his heart began beating faster as his hands grew sweaty. “Does anyone have eyes on agent, Y/L/N?”
The group murmured ‘No’s’ as they gazed at each other, each thinking up something terrible.
Letting out a frustrated huff, he took off his glass rolling his eyes. “Well don’t just stand there DiNozzo! Take McGee with you and go find her.”
“Right,” Tony spoke, as he rushed away with Tim.
“Where are we going?”
“I have no idea...We’ll know it when we see it.” Tony spoke his eyes darting around the room for any evidence.
Letting out a frustrated huff, he decided he needed some fresh air. Walking along the sidewalk in front of the hotel, he kicked a pebble in the process. Sighing, Tony shoved his hands in his pockets as he stood still attempting to ponder the thought of where his best friend could’ve gone.
Just as he was about to walk away, the soft rustling of something caught in a bush, captured his attention.
Scrunching his eyebrows he crouched down before taking a pen out from his suit jacket. Gently, he lifted the handkerchief with it cautiously looking at it. Raising it to his nose, he sniffed before jolting away from it. The leftover chemical residue overwhelmed his senses.
“Woah.” He muttered to himself.
“DiNozzo! There you are!” Gibbs spoke with Tim in toe. “We were...” His voice trailing off as he observed Tony. Crouching down beside him, he turned his attention to the handkerchief.
“Whatcha got there?”
“I think...I think Y/N was abducted.” Tony spoke his voice filled with sorrow as he exchanged a glance between his co-workers.
“I think you’re right, DiNozzo.” Gibb’s spoke.
---
At an undisclosed location.
“Wake up.” Your captor hissed throwing water onto you.
Gasping, you jerked your head up as your eyes shot open. Instantly, you felt your muscles ache. Groaning, you attempted to glance at your surroundings.
“Would you look at that?” Another voice spoke, causing your heart to beat rapidly. You were at a disadvantage, two against one. “You managed to snag the very agent we were wanting.”
However, the second man was, made your skin crawl causing you to shift uncomfortably in the chair you were tied to. Your hands bound behind your back behind the chair.
“We’ve been waiting for you, little agent.” The man spoke. “You don’t know who we are, but we sure do know who you are.” He spat sending you a sly grin.
Gulping, you felt your body involuntary shake. Ice coursed through your veins. At that moment, you decided you would do whatever it took to survive nor would you let them get away with the murders they had committed.
“We’re going to make you wish you were never born.” The man spoke showing you the front row of his teeth as his eyes glistened with a sickening joy.
Gazing at him, you attempted to hide your fear. Before you knew it, your stomach was aching in pain as one of the men sent his fist there over and over.
Squeezing your eyes shut, you willed yourself to think about anything but what was going on.
“Why...” You breathed out. “Did...”
“Halt.” One man spoke. The man sending his fists into your stomach, immediately stopped his actions.
Relief was quick to overwhelm you. Taking a few breaths, you closed your eyes as you listened to your surroundings. Wherever you were, it was far away from the city. In the distance, a train horn sounded as barriers alerted traffic.
Howling sounds of the wind and coyotes could be heard. Goosebumps formed on your skin as you were met with a slightly chilled draft. Moving your feet, you realized the foundation was dirt.
A cooling sensation grasped your jaw, yanking your head upwards. Gasping slightly, you were met with a man who had two different colored eyes. His lips seemingly curled at the end.
“I know what you’re doing agent.” He spoke. “We’re somewhere your friends and father won’t figure out...Until it’s too late.” He smirked. “I was practicing for the day I would have you.”
“Go to hell.” You snarled, rolling your lips flashing him your canines.
"Maybe one day, but not while I have you.”
