“Tonight's the night, when we forget about the heartbreaks. It's time.”
@anomaliae asked: “Do you— wanna come upstairs?” (Fae @ Aaron them reconnecting)
While they had a few casual drinks at the bar and caught up, Aaron still hesitated at her invitation. What was the status with Fae and her new beau? Maybe this was nothing more than a set up. Maybe she wanted to play them off of one another. He leaned forward, closing the distance between them in the back of the idling Uber. “Are you sure? Might not be a good idea, what with your new flame around.” Cheating concerned Aaron far less than any potentially questionable intentions she had towards him.
@materxalgxrl asked: #b for whichever muse you want (Aaron)
“Survival of the richest! The city's ours until the fall.”
@vitrexanima asked: ’ if you’re feeling down, i can feel you up. ’ [ Lorelei to Aaron ]
Aaron threw her a sideways glance and leaned against the bar. He had been sitting there for a few hours after getting home from an overnight in Dallas. “Down might not be the right word--tired’s more like it. But I won’t say no to a little pick me up.”
@anomaliae asked: "Wow. Those grey hairs have really grown in since the last time I saw you." (Fae to Aaron because yes)
Aaron ran his fingers through his hair, a reflexive response to the compliment if one could call it that. He put his hands on his hips and exhaled with a dry chuckle. “Call it a side effect of the job,” he replied. “How’re you doing then? Busy spending your money at Tiffany’s?”
