Before I saw the Palace of Fine Art Rotunda in person I saw it in Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo. Apparently there's a small replica at Disneyland. This is a much simplified illustration of it. It's quite amazing in person.
This was one of my preliminary color samples for the cover of the next Pasadena visitors guide. It's the color I wanted but they ended up going with one of my other comps.
Giant dump truck with rollie pollie wheels. This was a piece from a cancelled project I worked on. I was really bummed because I love construction vehicles next to tiny things.
