Aaron had met Theo the same way that Theo had met most of his friends - through the Dread Doctors. Aaron wasn’t a product of their experiments; rather he was, at one point, meant to be a source of their power. Aaron’s ability to reshape the reality around him was most useful for the three mad scientists. A couple years back the doctors had deployed their first successful chimera to bring Aaron in. The cosmic creature remembered Theo pretending to be interested in him and try to bring him back to his place.
To make a long story short, their plan failed and Aaron escaped, but not without promising payback to the ones who had tried to use him. He kept a low profile after that. But like all supernatural beings, Aaron found himself drawn to a certain small town in California. He spotted the chimera in Beacon Hills not long after his arrival, and after doing some snooping and getting enough intel, Aaron felt ready to make himself known.
The changes he made were minimal at first. Things that would only irk Theo. His underwear drawer had been hacked, all of his jockstraps and boxer briefs replaced with pastel-colored lace panties. All shirts had been turned into crop tops, and even his deodorant had been swapped for a bottle of perfume. It was something that could easily be passed off as a prank. It wouldn’t be until Theo was with the local alpha that he’d make himself known.
