Hmm, I don't remember x factor house rules so I can't answer.
I wonder if she actually did meet Perrie on x factor, but was later told by Modest to say Jan 2012. Or wait, Little Mix was on end of 2011 - maybe that's almost the same thing? Like end of dec 2011, and jan 2012 are very similar time frames and it's possible she just made an honest mistake and forgot exactly. Maybe she just said "in" as kind of a shorthand for "just right after."
Either way, it's not too far off. But I don't pay enough attention to Aaroosa to have more of an answer than that.
