I’m extending #SaturdayDIY to #WeekendDIY to share some startorial Halloween costume ideas!
I met Deb and her delightful daughters at AAS 225, after they visited the exhibit hall as part of an event for local school groups. Deb shared her family’s Halloween costumes with us:
My oldest daughter (Jasmine, the sun) also painted our faces. My youngest (Eliana, the moon), used the crater fabric to make the shirt and used silver knit fabric to make the circle skirt. My husband and I attached lights onto our costumes (the stars). Half his jacket had lights in the pattern of the big dipper, and I went with a free-form star pattern.
Watch this space for more startorial costume ideas!
