My sister and I convinced my brother to create a DnD campaign for us and I'm seriousoy considering creating a Aasimar Monk, as tribute to Beau and Yasha, even though those two things do not mesh at all ššš
Should I do it?
"Enariel, Gentle Soul" is my very first full digital painting. This is an entry to the 13th Challenge of DigitalPainting.School for which I'm a student. We had to design a card according to a specific canvas size, choose 1 color (nation) and amongst creature/spell/environment. I picked a Yellow Creature, and decided to paint my DnD character and NPC, Enariel, Aasimar Monk.
Older Kane a.k.a I donāt know how to draw people older than 25
Day 2: Mercy
For day two, I have one of my own babes! Please meet Leandra, my Aasimar Way of Mercy Monk, who I play in the Descent into Avernus campaign, pictured here, as the Hanged Man tarot card.
Leandra was raised in the church of Ilmater, always being told that His gaze lingers upon her and, after a traumatic event that convinced her of this fact, she ran away, trying to shake the weight of the Crying Godās eyes. Her travels eventually brought her to Baldurās Gate, where she met the rest of the party and was, shortly afterwards, conscripted to help against a death cult.Ā
During this quest, her wish was granted: a fireball cast by a cultist mage killed her. Through their leaderās initiative and refusal to give up, she was revived at the temple of Torm, now with the liberating certainty that Ilamterās hand no longer reached for her.Ā
Leandra finally had the time and the space to look upon her own values, and choose which to follow and which to discard, without divine scrutiny. Thus, she accepted the quest to go into Hell, to the sunken Elturel and once a glimmer of a hope for the cityās salvation revealed itself, she jumped at it.
Hell, however, is an ordeal and it weighs heavy on the entire party. Leandra, in particular, was shaken by the fall of Gideon, the High Priest of Lathander, in whom the mercy and light of the Morninglord was replaced by the cruelty and paranoia of the devils.Ā
Now, she tries to hold tightly onto herself and to live by the tenets she has chosen for herself. Mercy, in particular, she holds dear, for what is a warrior without it? Fighting is mere violence without it; killing mere slaughter and with every defeated demon, with every devil that falls by her fists, she holds tighter.
Thank you @oc-growth-and-development for this wonderful challenge!

Tales from the Society Against Leo:
btw, iām gonna be calling our dm Kae which is a shortening of his name without actually writing his whole name
mission: save the magical children from the cult that wants to turn them into soldiers and do weird experiments on them that require turning them into abominations
kae: okay, guys, so youāll need to find someone who can get you a way into the children of Janusā hideout, whatāre you going to do?
koko (rogue played by the guy who played our annoying ass paladin): the black market, weāll go to the black market because they deal in things like kids
hector (human mariachi-bard): yeah! and we can buy some drugs while weāre there
moira (aasimar monk played by me): i donāt condone the black market but if it helps us get the children back to their families, iāll go with you
kae: okay, so youāre going to the black market? (everyone nods) alright. now, going to the black market means that you have to leave your weapons in the apartment, are you all okay with that?
koko: yeah, whatās the worst that could happen? i leave all my weapons behind
hector: my weapon is my guitar and itās not like theyāre gonna take that off me
moira: i am not leaving my trident behind. last time i left it behind it got mutilated and i donāt trust the black market so iām not going in unarmed. can my trident fit in the bag of holding?
kae: uh, i guess so?
moira: i put poseidon in the bag of holding as well as sense (my spoon shaped club)
alphie - @aussie-lesbian : iāve hidden my squiggly dagger on me
kae: and off to the black market you go?
SAL (society against leo): yeah
we made our artificer leave her guns behind too which she was not happy about in the slightest
<cut to us in the black market>
moira, inspecting a drug stall: do you have any idasian weed? (moira is from a place called vale idas)
kae as the shopkeep: naw, that shits too expensive to import so we only have this shit
moira: thatās too bad. have you heard anything about the children of janus at all? i have business to conduct with them
kae: rosie, are you sure you wanna ask the shady drug dealer in a den full of other shady people who are armed, while most of your party is not, if he knows where to find the outlawed religious terrorist cult?
me as moira: yes, this would be the best place to ask about them, wouldnāt it?
kae: he looks at you like youāve just asked him where a group of people who deal in mutilating children is, which you did, and he draws a knife
me: so...he doesnāt know anything about the children of janus?
kae, the light leaving his eyes: everyone roll initiative
