OLONGAPO, ZAMBALES -- Two of the biggest terrestrial over-the-air, cable television and print news organizations as 'Bilyonaryo News Channel' (BNC) and 'Abante' formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with 'K5 News FM Philippines'. On Thursday (August 14th, 2025 -- Olongapo local time), 5K Broadcasting Network Incorporated (5KBNi)'s president and chief executive officer (CEO) named 'Dr. Ramel Ytang Uy' and BNC President 'Renato M. Marfil' agree to collaborate in delivering more expansive, faster and truthful news for Filipinos in every corner of the country.
DWAR-AM 1494khz's Abante Radyo in Manila and BNC have recently joined forces with 5KBNi's K5 News FM for more comprehensive news coverage. The said flagship radio station of 'K5 News FM' under DYQU-FM 103.9mhz hailing the city of smiles in Bacolod, with more than 60 regular and affiliate radio stations nationwide, including right here in 'Dumaguete City, Negros Island Region' (NIR) on DWFH-FM 97.7mhz.
Known for having high-definition on-air broadcasts and a strong presence on social media, it quickly delivers important information to the public. National radio newscast of 'Mighty Cee Network News' can be heard during 11MBPS (Mga Balita kag Public Service) at 12nn from Olongapo. While "Agenda", the Philippines' flagship newscast programme of BNC airs on Abante Radyo in the AM band, DWLL-FM's Mellow 94.7 in Mega Manila, and simulcast on all K5 News FM network stations starting next week coming Monday night (August 18th) at 6pm.
At this point to its MOA, newspaper outlet 'The Brighton Bugle' understands that the rumors of Manila's radio station for 'K5 News FM' are less likely to be set up. Olongapo is the only 2nd flagship station outside Bacolod that serves as the original regional hub at DZIV-FM 88.7mhz in Zambales for 5KBNi. Prage Management Corporation (PMC), which is both owned and operated by these said corporate multimedia news giants.
