Korlan mobilizes entire military & preparations for invasion of Abantu
The Korlanic government has responded to the State Union and Hrozavas declaration of war by mobilizing its military in its entirety. Coastal defences were set up and every one of the nation's navy and submarine fleets have been mobilized.
Defences have been set up at the military base in Sonder, the naval and submarine presence off its coast has also been increased. This is in order to prevent ships from the State Union or Hrozava from entering Ailou through the Samudric Sea.
Korlan has set up defences along all of its holdings and has begun to prepare for further entries into the conflict. The entirety of the Korlanic Isles, Miuli, the island of Chormen, and the Farlands have been weaponized with the intent to engage hostiles.
Submarines are also patrolling the coast of Ponder, Kuwhara and Volios in order to protect Korlan in the event of a Vau’senaan declaration of war. The same is being done to Etola, with naval vessels and submarine patrolling its coasts as well. Korlan is also planning to block all trade to Etola in order to further force it into submission and neutrality.
The Korlanic military presence in Kladiow has also begun to aid in weaponizing the border with both Hrozava and Iljika in order to protect the integrity of its ally. Korlanic forces in Oscana have done the same on the border with Willsbourg.
The Korlanic government, following the declaration of war, has announced its invasion of Abantu, which has recently been admitted into the Southern Alliance. The government claims it aims to spread Ilfiatism to the island in order to protect the integrity of the democratic nation. They also hope the island will aid in Korlan’s military projection into central Ailou.
