Hahaha yeah, I know they're safe to take together, I just want to make sure that they're effective to take together, so I don't take all the meds and then just end up a shaky panicky mess that can't focus. I'm gonna do a trial run tomorrow with both and see.

 glenn-griffon answered: ADHD means that your brain chemestry will react differently to adderall. It will be a downer, not an upper for you I recall correctly.

Yeah, that's the ultimate effect it has, but it's still processed metabolically like an upper. And the Xanax and Adderall work on different systems, so it's not like I can necessarily combine them and just get extra calm. So I don't know if the Xanax will keep it from being processed correctly, or vice versa, or if they'll cancel each other out.
