When he finds out your manager abused you

You were barely awake when you walked down the hallway, blindly trying to find your way towards the kitchen. Jungkook was definitely going to complain because you had decided to get out of bed without him and as soon as he would find out you weren’t there when he woke up he would start whining. But you’d woken with the intense need to use the bathroom so you hadn’t really had another choice but to get up unless you wanted your bladder to explode. And what was the use of getting back to bed now? You wouldn’t be able to get back to sleep anyway and you would just risk waking up your boyfriend, who was very fond of his sleep these days. You were sure you would feel a lot better after a good cup of coffee and a few minutes to wake up slowly. Yet, those plans seemed irrelevant as soon as you entered the kitchen. Somehow you had ended up sleeping at Jungkook’s dorm tonight, because you’d been too tired to drive back by yourself and he didn’t think it was safe for you to be outside in the middle of the night.
And so the two of you had ended up in his bed instead, and now you were walking into their kitchen, noticing that a few of the boys were already awake. “_____________! I didn’t know you were staying over. Do you want breakfast?” Seokjin asked, turning his head towards you to send you a friendly smile. He was standing behind the stove, busy with some eggs in a pan and some bacon in the other. Who were you to decline a gesture of such sort? “Yeah, that would be nice, thanks.” You muttered, returning his smile as you walked over towards the coffee machine, where you found Yoongi leaning against the counter. He was glaring through the window, staring at something you weren’t able to see. There could only be a few explanations to why he was in such a bad mood, or someone had woken him up before his alarm went off, or someone had woken him up while he wasn’t even supposed to be awake.
“Morning.” You said softly, hoping you wouldn’t annoy him any further as you sneaked past him and tried not to trip as you reached for the coffee machine. There weren’t many things that were able to wake you up, almost none expect for Jungkook being his usual self in the morning or a good and strong prepared coffee. The smell of food was filling the room and you were sure that those who were awake but weren’t around yet would soon be attracted by the lovely smell. Soon the room would be filled with guys. “Is Jungkook still in bed?” Jimin asked as he entered the room, as if on cue. He immediately picked out one of the chairs behind the counter and settled himself on it. His friendly eyes were directed towards you when you reached upwards towards the cabinet where you knew they were keeping the cups. “Yeah, he was sleeping like a baby.” You said, watching the way he chuckled before nodding. Tiptoeing you grabbed one of the mugs and placed it down on top of the sideboard. You could feel Yoongi’s eyes on you, even though it hadn’t seemed like he had heard you. But his boring and intense gaze was impossible to ignore and somehow you ended up being distracted by it.
Blinking in confusion you allowed your eyes to lock with his, and you were surprised to see the suspicious expression on his face. Even though you had no idea what was going through his head, your heart immediately began to pound inside of your chest. “Are you alright Yoongi?” You asked, not sure if you should be worrying. As far as you could remember you hadn’t really done anything to piss him off and you were sure that this time it hadn’t been you and Jungkook who had woken him overnight. Yet, whatever he seemed this serious about, it didn’t seem as if he was planning on sharing it with you. Instead a smile magically appeared onto his face, almost making it seem as if the previous moment never happened. There wasn’t a single sign of his bad mood, and all of a sudden he seemed airy and careless. Something definitely wasn’t right, you had never seen his behavior changing so quickly before. “I’m fine, didn’t sleep well, that’s all. I’m just going to check on Jungkook real fast, I have something to discuss with him but I didn’t get to it last night.” He said, settling his cup of coffee on the counter beside him before pacing away.
Opening your mouth you wanted to tell him that you’d just mentioned him being asleep, and that he wouldn’t be awake yet. Surely whatever they had to discuss could wait until breakfast? But before you were able to do as much, he was gone. Frowning deeply you stared inside of his mug, where his coffee was almost left untouched, still steaming hot. He never left his coffee and he hated it when it got cold. “Breakfast is ready!” Seokjin shouted loudly through the room, causing you to shake out of your thoughts and get back to reality. Your stomach rumbled at the sight of the freshly cooked meal waiting for you in the middle of the table and you tried to get rid of the itchy feeling you felt before walking up towards the others. Choosing the chair next to Jimin’s, you sat down with a thud, heaving a deep sigh. There was something about this situation that made you feel uncomfortable, because no matter how paranoia it sounded, you felt as if it had something to do with you. But as far as you could tell you hadn’t done anything different than usual.
You’d stayed over at the dorm so many times before and you always did the same thing. You always asked for your cup of coffee in the morning, until the guys had told you to simply take it instead of asking. You were wearing the same pajamas you had worn last time and your hair was still a mess, but it always was. What could have been so shocking to make Yoongi react in the way he had? “Hey, are you okay? Did you and Jungkook fight or something?” Jimin asked as he propped a piece of meat inside of his mouth. His attentive eyes were drawing you as you took your share of food and picked up your fork. You could probably spend the next couple of hours wondered about what had just happened, while you should just enjoy your time with the boys. They were so busy lately, you barely got to see them or spend time with them. “No, we’re good. I saw your performance last night, you were really good.” You mentioned, hoping to change the topic. You were done talking about you, it was time for you to start thinking about something else.
“I know right! We nailed it.” Seokjin said as he sat down across of you, grabbing a plate and scooping up some scrambled eggs and bacon. With a smile on your face and your mouth full with food you scrunched your nose at him. His confidence suited him, and it was definitely well deserved. You were sure people were still talking about that performance, it had been a masterpiece. The past few weeks you’d heard Jungkook talking about how much they had practiced for it and how excited he had been to show it to everyone. And they had every right to be proud, it was the best performance of the entire show. The amount of special effects and the lighting had definitely been a big help, but if it hadn’t been for them the performance hadn’t even looked interesting. “The hard part is to keep it that way. Now what are we going to do next time?” Seokjin muttered, and Jimin quickly jumped in on that, telling him about the many ideas which had already popped up inside of his mind. Even though your performance had been remarkable as well, you couldn’t say that it had been as much of an eye catcher as BTS.
But you and your members worked hard to give the best of yourselves and to show it to the world. Sadly enough, it didn’t seem like everyone agreed to that. Thinking back about last night events it still seemed as if you had swallowed a brick, and it was weighing heavily inside of your stomach. Swallowing your eggs you tried your hardest to ban it from your mind. The past was the past, and it couldn’t be changed. “Anyway, we saw your performance too! It was great, Hoseok and Taehyung were rocking to your song the entire time. You should watch a reaction video on youtube.” Jimin advised and somehow you were able to imagine exactly how each of them had reacted. It wasn’t really hard to figure it out. Yet, you usually avoided watching your own performance video’s on youtube, because you knew not all of the comments would be as nice. Seokjin opened his mouth to say something, but he wasn’t even able to form a single word before being interrupted by a storm blazing through the room, surprising everyone.
The three of you all looking up to see Jungkook rushing around the corner and entering the room. His hair was a mess and he literally looked as if he had been awake for only a few seconds. “Jungkookie…” Jimin started in greeting, but his voice faded when he noticed the look on the younger once’s face. It was as if something had enlightened inside of him and it had set his insides on fire. There was something wild inside of his eyes, as if he was going to punch someone, and he was planning to make it hurt. And the worst thing, his eyes were pointing straight at you. “You, me, a word. Now.” His voice was stern and made sure to let everyone know that he wouldn’t accept an argument. Yet, you could hear the vibrations inside of it, indicating how angry he was and how much he had to control himself in order not to scream. Everyone seemed to notice it, because no one dared to speak up. You watched the way Seokjin leaned back in his chair in front of you, while Jimin just sat silently, his gaze lingering in between you and your boyfriend. He had just asked you if something was wrong, and you had told him there wasn’t. And now Jungkook came in, furious and boiling and it seemed like it was your fault.
Not knowing what else to do you pushed your chair back, trying not to make any odd or big movements. Somehow you felt vulnerable under his look, even though you couldn’t even think of what the hell you could have done to deserve this. Last night he had been all over you and you had cuddled before falling asleep, what could have happened between then and now which had caused him to loose his shit? Yet, that was when you noticed Yoongi standing behind him, with once again that serious and criticizing expression on his face. You’d known he was up to something, and it seemed like you were about to figure out what that was. You ignored him as you followed behind Jungkook, who turned his back on you as soon as he noticed you were planning on listening to him. It seemed like no one was allowed to hear the conversation the two of you were about to have because he seemed to be leading you back towards his bedroom. You couldn’t believe that this wonderful morning had turned into something this dramatic in just a matter of seconds. Crossing your arms over your chest you walked into the room, stopping in the middle as you refused to face him, your stubborn side showing.
Who did he even think he was? He shouldn’t be able to talk to you like that and definitely not in front of his friends, Throwing commands at you like you were some sort of dog. No matter what he was angry about, he could have talked to you in a very different manner. “I need you to explain me something.” He muttered, his voice still pinched and low, causing you to press your lips together in dislike. Through the window in front of you, you could see that he was walking up to you and at a certain point you could feel him right behind you, the warmth of his chest radiating to you. The blankets of the bad were messily hit back, showing you of how much in a hurry he had been to get out of the room. “I don’t need to do anything.” You spat back, turning on your heels and facing him. He was indeed standing right in front of you, and you had to look up at him in order to catch his eye. He poked his tongue into the side of his cheek, a sign which told you that he was annoyed. You expected him to say something, to lash out on you again and throw some silly accusation at your head, but his next move overwhelmed you. You almost flinched when his hands shot forward and one encircled around your wrist while the other tugged down the sleeve of your shirt, revealing your arm.
Somehow you could sense your mouth get dry while at the same time adrenaline seemed to flow through your veins. How the hell could he have known? “What is this?” He asked, his gaze drilling into yours as you pouted your lips. In your mind you were going through all the options you had, about the excuses you could come up with. The real story still caused shame to color your cheeks and you surely didn’t want to think about it. “I fell.” You muttered softly, your eyes lingered away from his, which had been the wrong thing to do. His anger was practically radiating from him as he pointed towards the bruises running along your lower arm. “Don’t lie to me! Who did this to you?” He ranted, and it seemed as if he finally lost his patience as his voice got louder. You didn’t like it when he yelled at you like this, and you surely didn’t like the tone he was using against you. Tugging your wrist closer you tried to get him to let go, but he firmly held on. “Let go of me Jungkook.” You spoke calmly, hoping that it would get some sense into him. This wasn’t some sort of conversation you wanted to be yelled at.
“No, I’m not letting go before you’re telling me the truth.” He informed while his fingers tightened around you. You could feel your already sore skin twitch underneath his touch, causing your voice to crack as you yelled at him. “Let go Jungkook! You’re hurting me!” You blurted and it was almost as if you had just slapped him in the face. Because in a matter of seconds his hand disappeared and he took a step back. Some of the anger seemed to fade from him as his look softened, his hands colliding together in front of his chest nervously. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to…” He mumbled and you could tell he was ashamed of himself. Brushing across your sore skin you took a deep breath. If there was one thing you were sure about it was that he would never intentionally hurt you. And if it hadn’t been for the bruises you’d had already his hold wouldn’t even have been noticeable. “I just… Suga hyung saw the bruises and he told me about it. I can’t believe you hid them from me! We’re supposed to talk about these kind of things.” He said, running his hands through his hair. Sighing deeply you tugged your sleeve back down your arm, no longer feeling the need to look at the purple colored shapes on your wrist.
You knew that you should have told him about it, but you didn’t want him to worry. Besides, you had barely known how to deal with it yourself, so you definitely didn’t know what you were supposed to say. You walked towards the bed and sat down on the edge, watching the way he stood there, waiting for an answer. “It happened last night, after the show.” You started, feeling the intense need to look at anything but him as you recalled the events of last night. All six of you had been so excited to perform, you had practiced hard and you had just wanted to show everyone what you had been working for this past few months. It was supposed to be great, but of course, mistakes were easily made. “Elena made a choreography mistake on stage, I can’t even remember what it was. Anyway, our manager did and he wasn’t pleased.” You mumbled, and you could watch every single one of Jungkook’s muscle tense underneath his shirt, the vein in his neck pumping at the rhythm of his probably fast beating heart. “And so he did this to you?” He asked, looking as if he wanted to hit something. A red color was spreading across of his cheeks as he blew them up.
“He was going to do something, and I couldn’t just let it happen. So I stood up for her, and then this happened.” You decided not to reveal too many details, of how he had screamed at all of you and had throw a bottle of water around the room. It hadn’t been pretty and you had never seen him so angry before, so you knew it wasn’t his usual behavior. Still, that didn’t give him the chance to treat any of you like that. Jungkook’s silence showed how disapproving he was as he walked towards you and threw himself down on the bed next to you. He brushed his hands across his face before he turned his face to you, the anger inside of them seemed different now. You knew he just wanted to yell at your manager this time around, but not at you. “This can’t happen again.” He whispered, a big contrast to how he had sounded before, but you knew he meant it and you knew he was right. Your manager shouldn’t be allowed to show this kind of behavior. “What am I supposed to do?” You asked, knowing that you didn’t just want everything to get messed up because of this and you surely didn’t want everyone to find out. But it seemed like that wasn’t very hard, since even Yoongi had realized something was up and you weren’t even that close. “We’ll figure it out. But I’m not going to allow anyone to treat you like that.” He said, and you could only send him a smile. You knew that in the end he would always try to do what was best for you. He wasn’t supposed to find out, but now that he had, you knew that you should have told him all along. “Yeah, we’ll figure it out.” You repeated, watching the way his shoulders finally seemed to relax as he reached towards you. Wrapping his arms around you he pulled you in for a hug, and honestly, that was exactly what you needed right now. “But I am going to kick his ass.” He mumbled inside of your hair, causing you to chuckle.
