Flower Squad Adventures 09/02/2018

When we last left our heroes…

The Squad had a good night sleep in their pillowfort and talked about future projects and feelings, the next morning they went on their way to make Rael’s graffiti quest. They went to the rich zone of the city. They had a slightly hiccups during the mission, but nothing to worry about.

The gang went back to Abdel’s to exchange news and findings, at the place they found Daphne and Abdel practicing some neat music, it was amazing. After exchanging pleasantries, Daphne went for Hialti in the other room. Abdel told them that Cayle escaped and apologized about that. The squad reassured him since the expectations of Cayle were very low.

After that they talked about their findings with Erdre and showed to Abdel’s the letter with the skull simbols, he really didn’t like that at all, just at that moment Hialti arrived to the room, everyone was thrilled, she again apologized about Cayle’s escaping, but they reassured her again and suggested that she could use Cayle as a boomerang if he shows up again. She liked that idea. Then proceeded to tell them her findings, apparently someone framed Ravenguard’s group and the Royal Guards practically pushed them out of the city, the Flaming Fist also fired the newcomers due to mistrust, so she won’t be able to keep spying.

The Squad then gave her the idea of leading a mini-army, joining forces with Ravenguard to kick down the Bandits Leader. The Gang was also secretly promising make Hialti the new king.

Abdel told them more news, with the letter he could be able to track the owner, since it was the only evidence they found, might take a while. Then Zinnia remembered the box of tea Lora found.  Then Abdel said based on that, would only take time until the sun sets.

After that Zinnia started to say everyone about a bad hunch she had after the gang visited Dlusker, she had the feeling that the cult might be infiltrated in all the factions they’ve been working on, because in some way the clues where linked between all the factions. Abdel was worried because of that and they all agreed to be extra careful from now on.

After heading back to the city, they passed through the district they graffited and saw some houses set on fire, thanks for Cat’s scout, they found out for their surprise and horror that the houses on fire were the ones the squad marked earlier.  They were about to leave when they heard from the neighbor houses someone was trapped inside the house on fire. Zinnia was so done with the situation that she was about to leave since the fantasy firemen were arriving at the place, but Miruk, pure cinnamon roll insisted on helping since in a way that was their fault. Then they did a plan, Cat goes to the house on fire since she had fire inmunity, then she will switch places with Lora after Cat finds out where the person was. The person was on a second floor, Lora and Cat switched places, Lora managed to carry the person to a window. Then Zinnia suggested to Miruk to change into the Holy Bear form to catch the person and Lora, then he did that, saving Lora and the person from the second floor. After they left the person to the firement and healers they went away back to the squad.

At the same time Miruk and Lora were coming back, Lark and Zinnia heard a person calling for them, it was Abdel hiding in the shadows, just in time Miruk and Lora arrived, since they felt betrayed and paranoid enough for the graffiti quest, they mistrusted Abdel for a moment, he was sure surprised for that. But after finding out it was him they followed him.

On the way outof the place, Abdel confirmed Zinnia’s conspiracy theories about the Cult being everywhere, and it was very plausible they set those houses on fire as a distraction to move hideouts, so they had to act quick. Everyone took the sewers, thankfully Abdel’s magic was able to drive away mostly of the nasty water. Abdel explained that the tea was able to track the buyers with Imoen’s skills. After that they found themselves in front of a valve, between Abdel and Lark were able to open the passage to another new area. A suspiciously more habitated area, they kept walking through the place until they found out a huge map with pictures and strings attached to them, Silvershield, Ravenguard and Rael had big pictures on the map as strings to their subordinates. Which attached to pictures or Erdre, Abdel and a third picture of a human named Sarevok, these last three had the simbol of the skull, and Erdre and Sarevok had big red X on their faces.

Suddendly they found themselves into a some kind of ambush, the gang was able to avoid the attacks but Abdel was shot in the leg with an arrow, 14 cloaked figures heavily armed entered the room, they seemed pleased to have Abdel in their place.

The gang started to keep the cultists busy with questions while Lark was sneaking around and healing Abdel’s leg, the cultists kept saying that they only came to look for Abdel since he was a spawn of Bhaal and wanted to kill him. They made it very clear that they were outnumbered so they could just walk away and leaving Abdel there for their own good, but hell no way the gang was gonna do that. Abdel was apologizing, saying that the cultits were saying was true, it was just matter of time before becoming a Slayer. But the gang’s mind was set, they were taking Abdel out of there and talk about that when they were safe. After Lark healed Abdel’s leg [and giving him a boost of +2] then he did the first move, with his harp struk a high not and the cloaked figures were stunned with the sound. Now the gang ran to the corri where they came from, and had two options…fight…or escape…

And so it continues…

I need to commission art of Abdel. He is a bard who likes low-cut shirts and open collars and having a good time. Too bad saving the world keeps getting in the way of his fun.
