MC finds themselves in Abel’s bed more often (and not just for those reasons 🤭)

They genuinely enjoy being around him, and will make up any excuse to come over. Abel left one of his pens at the cabin? Guess it’s only right for them to drop by to give it back.

Señora Gomez often lounges outside his apartment building and has let them inside multiple times. The two end up making a deal: they keep her smoking a secret from Abel as long as she unlocks the front entrance.

That doesn’t stop her from teasing MC whenever they visit.

At first they would bring their own change of clothes, toiletries, etc. if they planned on staying the night. As time went on, and as their visits became more frequent, Abel let them keep a toothbrush at his place along with some of their belongings

“It’s just more convenient,” he justified sheepishly, rubbing his neck as he watched MC put their things in a drawer he cleared out specifically for them.

Despite having their own clothes at his apartment, MC prefers to sleep in one of his t-shirts.

Their size difference becomes very apparent whenever they do take one of his shirts (even the ones he’s outgrown). Oftentimes, his clothes would fall just above their knees, their body swallowed in fabric.  

Abel also prefers it when MC wears his clothes- the sight always managed to fluster him no matter how many times he’s seen it. He would never admit it out loud, but he purposely hides MC’s clothes/puts them in with his laundry so they’d have to wear his.

MC’s nightmares don’t always go away when they visit, but it’s such a comfort for them to find themselves next to Abel whenever they do wake up from one

They try not to wake him up if possible, knowing how sleep deprived Abel usually is. MC would time their breaths with his to calm themselves down, the sound lulling them back to sleep.

Out of the two, Abel’s sleep dramatically improves whenever MC visits (as in he’s more likely to sleep through the night)

With MC, he can clear his mind better. He typically will bury his face somewhere in MC’s body (the nape of their neck, chest, shoulder)- focusing on the warmth of their skin rather than whatever ghost is lurking in the corner.

He also loves the scent of MC's bodywash/shampoo. After sleeping over so many times, their scent would linger on their side of the bed. If MC couldn't stay over for the night, he would find himself clinging to their pillow

He managed to fall asleep faster whenever MC would lazily play with his hair

Abel 👏 is 👏 a 👏 clingy 👏 mf- and MC just became his security blanket

He’d unconsciously try to readjust his hold on MC if they were to pull away in the middle of the night. They found the small whine he made whenever they did try to move adorable (even if he did make going to the bathroom extremely difficult- awake or not)

Needless to say, they always wake up in a tangle of limbs. Lucky for them, that's their favorite way to wake up
