It was a bit strange, finding out that Nanashi’s cousin Mikado was actually himself from the future. They were different in some ways, yet still very very similar. That’s to be expected though. People grow, and experience many things the more and more they grow older. He knew Nanase didn’t want to stay in the timeline after all was done, for good reason, but the boy couldn’t help tugging at his older selves jacket.
Nanase deserves a place in this timeline as much as he. Everyone deserves a place to belong no matter what, as long as they hold a small wish inside to be there, then they should be allowed. He didn’t know for sure how Nanase felt but... The younger boy had a feeling if he looked away for a single second, the older would disappear, and that scared him. Made him feel sad. Was it alright to be selfish for a moment?
“If you could... could you please stay more? There’s so much I want to talk to you about, and so many things I want to do with you!”
