Did Mc's parents ever try to look for them after they were kidnapped?

I don't want to get too deep into what happened since it would spoil a lot of chapter 6 and 7. But, yes! They did try to find their children when they were stolen. I should mention that the MC's birth Parents, Abeshai and Lillemor didn't just lose the MC that night. But the twins, Soren and Gralon (names subject to change - Poll incoming). Both of whom were 16 years old at the time. (The MC was around four/five at the time.)

Near the end of the Prologue, the MC has a chance to decide the singular memory that they remember of their past. That being:

(Nothing) The day they met the apprentice. The crone. Everything else is a blur.

(Fear) Running through a burnt forest as they are hunted by a howling monster.

(Comfort) A soft voice whispering in their ear, a hand covering their eyes.

(Blood) A pair of boys, young and vicious. Fighting a never-ending sea of shade and rot.

(Daggers) A man, grizzled and bleeding screams a name. Taken by the ghosts that control him.

(Singer) A woman with burning eyes, laughing through the pain as music fills the air.

You would not be the first. My own MOTHER whomst birthed me and reads my work- even the smut was a big fan and wanted to really push for team 'fuck trees and find out.'

I wonder how would Lilibye feel about the MC dating the ROs

Out of the MCs three parents? Lilibye is the most... agreeable toward the MC being in a relationship. That doesn't mean that she wouldn't have favorites... Lilibye's Thoughts on the ROs: Lady B: "Really? This one?" She'd be in disbelief at first. But could see the value of such a relationship if pushed by the MC. Bernie: *nods head* "This one will be easy to manipulate, smart my treasure." She finds their enthusiasm amusing. But otherwise believes them to be a passing fancy. Laz: *gags* "It reeks of depression and a fallen fate. Truly you could have done better my little dancer." She dislikes Laz' for spoiler-y reasons that even she does not fully understand. Amyntas: *disappointment* WHO THE FUCK BANGS THEIR POTENTIAL KILLER???? Bishop: "By the rotten eternal. You truly couldn't have picked ANYONE else?" The Lich Queen is very ANTI-Godling. But... if you let her have a lil' nibble, I don't think mummy dearest would be THAT concerned. Of course, then Bishop would be dead... so... Indigo: "The Keep could use some music." She'd be indifferent, if not a bit amused with the Bard's songs. Peri: *FEAR* That is a being that they wish to never see again. It's a bit more spoilery- but the MCs other parents, Lillemor and Abeshai are far PICKIER when it comes to romanced!Ros.

Will we be able to choose who MC parents are or is it set ?

It's pretty set with Lillemor and Abeshai being the MCs biological parents. And Lilibye being their... 'adoptive' one. Their backstories are also set, but their appearances are semi-based on the MCs.

Could you please tell us about MC other parents

Of course! It's not super spoiler-y cause you'll see them in the prologue. So here are some facts about them. Hopefully without spoiling anything. _____________________________________________________________ Lillemor: The mother who loved and lost stands just shy of 5'9". With a robust, plump frame, elegant robes, and a strange- ever glowing scar across her throat from her time as a courtly bard. How she ended up within the ass end of the Fell Mountains is anyone's guess. Her past is something that the MC can learn more about through the story. -She is exceptionally talented when it comes to an oud. -In the prologue, she is about 48 years old. Give or take a year. -Her voice is quite husky. Deep and low, with the grace of Honey and silk. -She married Abeshai against the will of their former masters. Resulting in some very... worrying consequences. ______________________________________________________________

Abeshai: The father who begged for peace after a lifetime of war and sorrow. He stands at a solid 5'5". As well as a rail-thin physique that belies a past strife with combat. He is riddled with scars and tattoos. His face is partially malformed from the burning end of a mage's rage.

His past is something that the MC can learn more about through the story. -In the prologue, Abeshai is around 46 years old. Maybe more. Time is weird for one like him. -He and the MC share the same combat class. (Mage, Warrior, Rogue) -His voice is gravely and broken from lack of use. -Abeshai's prior occupation is shared by a fellow member of the Masked Mercers. _____________________________________________________________ Both: -Abeshai and Lillemor have been together since they were children. Having 'fallen in love' and 'married' the same day that they met. (Think ring pop marriages at recess except these two refused to divorce over who gets to wear the ring pop.) -The MC was a happy accident since Lillemor believed that she was well into menopause. But don't worry! Their other children, Soren and Gralon were also accidents! These two can't plan for SHIT! _____________________________________________________________ Spoilers: The MC bears a worryingly remarkable resemblance to a savior that they can potentially meet in chapter Six.
