The way Adonis grew up was irregular in a sense. To him it was completely normal but anyone else would be able to tell things were wrong.
Adonis was born into a “family”, a big farm where everyone knew everyone and he never knew any different. They didn’t believe in material things, having the bare minimum in clothing and shelter and only being taught the teachings that the adults believed in. His father was the leader of the family, taking multiple wives and bearing children with them. The order of importance to the children was based on which wife they were born to. Adonis was born to wife number 3.
Adonis was in his thirties when he learned that this was not the normal life for people when the farm was raided and his father was taken away. This was when he learned that most of the people in the farm had been coerced into being there.
None of the children born to the family were registered and all were taken away. Adonis was taken away from his siblings and interrogated for weeks. He was however let go when he learned of the plans that his father and all his wives held. They had planned to take things further to meet God, planning on killing everyone in the “family”. Though now it had a new word, cult.
The media named them the “Perpetual Salvation Cult” and because he was an adult by the time they got wind of it, Adonis found his name was all over the media. Several members of his family who knew of and attempted to enact the plot were taken away.
With his name being in the media it wasn’t long until Adonis was approached by Theodore Byrne and he was taken under the older man’s wing. It wasn’t hard to manipulate the man as he doesn’t know the modern world well. He got to a point that he believes that working in a crime family is the right thing to do.
His siblings benefit from what he does, their college paid for and everything done to assist with them having the best lives they can.
Adonis is only interested in muses aged 30 and older.
