born in New Orleans, LA. the youngest of seven kids, treading just minutes behind her twin brother August.  

mom was a fortune teller and aura reader, and dad is a mystery writer

has been a big animal and nature lover since she was little. did she find a family of possums in her family’s garage and bring them crackers to earn their trust? yes, absolutely. did she leave bowls of food out for stray cats and dogs? obviously. 

She was a very quiet kid in school, off in some dreamland, but at home she was a chatterbox and you could not get her to stop talking, or if it was with August, signing wildly at him

Her mom died shortly before her fourteenth birthday and the fam packed up and moved to Crescent Harbor, WA to be closer to their dad’s family because … seven kids is a lot for one dude.

the death of her mother and the ensuing move, Amelia developed severe anxiety, and struggled in school because of it

Her counselors encouraged her to join some clubs or teams as a means to help her ‘focus her energy’ to help her anxiety

She joined the cross country team, and fell in love with it, and carried on with it through high school, and made Top 20 in the state

She received a sports scholarship to Washington State University and ran cross country for them while starting her major in Wildlife Biology

unfortunately at the end of her first semester, my sweet little dumbass, Amelia, slipped off a roof at a party and broke 3 ribs, her arm and her leg in 3 places.

She had surgery on her leg, and went through PT, she took the rest of the year off from school to “recover” but when fall came back around, her anxiety set in, and she decided not to return

During her time back in town, she sought out proper treatment for her anxiety.

She worked a couple of minimum wage jobs around town for about a year before she decided to finish out her degree at Crescent College

She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Biology a couple years ago, but has made very little effort to do anything with her degree. Don’t ask her what she wants to do if you don’t want to see her have an absolute meltdown, thx <3 

Basically she wants to be a park ranger or a farmer or something, but also she doesn’t want to commit to that life yet and she probably will never tell you this. but ... is it surprising? no.

She currently works at North Star Diner as a waitress

You’ll find her hiking, camping every chance she gets

She’s cautious with people, but as soon as she feels comfortable with you, you’ll wish she shut up. Talking is fun but she will chatter just to fill the void if she’s comfortable, and it won’t make any sense. you gotta connect the dots. 

She might be super into real world biology/ecology and all that, but also she loves cryptozoology and will go Bigfoot hunting at the drop of a hat

Personality: Amelia is a perfect example of “not judging a book by it’s cover”; despite her soft appearance and penchant for girly clothing, what lies beneath is a true adrenaline junkie and extremely impulsive. Always looking for something fun to do, she can usually be found outside trying to scale a wall just to see what it’s like at the top, running as fast as she can across the school grounds, or trying to make as many friends as possible to rope into a crazy adventure. She doesn’t mind getting hurt on her quest to have fun, but is always careful to make sure the people she ends up dragging along are safe, and won’t hurt themselves. When she inevitably gets in trouble, she insists on taking all the blame for whatever she was doing, and to let her friends go because they were just following her lead. She is fiercely loyal to people she considers friends, and won’t hesitate to get into a fight with anyone who hurts them (she also enjoys sparring in general, because win or lose, it’s fun). She is genuinely friendly, and enjoys spending time with people she cares about. While she doesn’t really consider anyone her ‘enemy’, she does tend to run her mouth about people she doesn’t “really care for”, and will make it known who these people are.

Fun Facts:

Because her impulsiveness usually leads to her breaking rules, Riddle does not like her very much. Amelia, on the other hand, does enjoy his company, even if she thinks he’s a bit too much of a stick in the mud.

When someone overblots, her first instinct before anything else is to physically fight them. Yes, this usually ends up with her getting slapped into near oblivion, but she thinks it’s the best course of action, especially as a non-magic user.

She calls Grimm “Gwimmy”.

She likes puzzles because, even though they’re low adrenaline, they force her to focus her mind on a problem, and she loves finding the solution to it.

She prefers Pixar to Disney movies. Yes she is aware Pixar basically owns Disney, but like... Toy Story slaps so...

My OCs: Obey Me!, Part VI

Here is a continuation of Parts I, II, III, IV and V. I will be making several more but will probably only make this one tonight. I’m not sure yet though. Just wrote over 1k words in a half-hour and have been feeling really sore (I also cooked and cleaned the crap out of the kitchen a few hours ago, so my body’s already been screaming at me today).

Anyway! Here is part VI:

Chip

Ariel: Ariel would probably be into Beel. He’s such a sweetheart and is so adorable. I think once she gets to the point of the game where she sees how hawt Levi secretly is when he takes off his shirt, though, she might change sides. But she’s such a sweetheart, she’d probably feel guilty about it.

Brian: Brian would probably like Lucifer. He’s into the quiet guys that only really express themselves to the people that they love.

Amelia (Kyle’s sister): This will have to be in the au, since she died at 4 in the ou and in OHS... but she would probably be into Levi. 1. She’s Kyle’s little sister for a reason... she loves a good challenge and 2. She loves a guy who’s full of surprises.

Victoria: Vic would probably go for Lucifer. He’d remind her of her husband/Maxie’s father. <3

So, just as with other parts, the two that are crossed off are people that aren’t into guys and therefore would never give the game a try. Unlike Maxie, even if they were pressured by their loved ones, they still wouldn’t try it.

Hello darlings! I’m Lorraine and this is my baby Amelia. Look forward playing with all of you! Below the cut you’ll find facts about Amy and her life. If you have any plot ideas, let me know! I’m up for almost everything.

Amelia Eckhart

She’s 36 years old and was born in Boston, Massachusetts. 

She’s a mutant and her ability is to make astral projections, basically, she’s able to leave her body at will and explore the universe, other dimensions, and the spiritual realm. it also gives her capabilities of entering people’s dreams. 

At Icarus Academy, she teaches the Psychology class, since she majored in Psychology at Brown. 

She’s a spiritual person, she believes in karma and can be a little bit cruel with her appreciations sometimes.

However, she is sociable, she likes to listen to people and cheer them up, just don’t get on her bad side being dishonest or unloyal. 

Her childhood was pretty normal, she has a younger brother named Connor, who’s also a mutant and has telepathic powers.

She was married for a brief time to a man that rejected her once he found out about her gift. The marriage didn’t last a year. The breakup was terrible for her, but also helped her in honing her skills and become more patient and less hateful, that’s how she reached the true illumination that allows her to project herself into people’s dreams. 

She devotes herself to her students, helping them overcome the insecurities that their gifts bring sometimes. She’s determined in making all mutants accept themselves as they are, not hiding from society.

Amelia is quite vocal with her opinions and won’t keep things to herself, this trait might get her into trouble when in need of some secrecy or diplomacy.

She’s quite open minded and she considers herself demisexual. For her sexual encounters are all about emotions and energy, no matter the gender of the person she’s involved with.
