Augustus Charles Moran - Bio

Augustus Charles Moran was born on 7th September 1958. He is the son of Charles Moran (✝) and Elizabeth Beaufort (✝). He was educated at Eton College and the University of Oxford where he studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

Upon graduating, he enlisted in the British Armed Forces and began officer training at RMA Sandhurst. He spent over a decade in the armed forces, rising to the rank of Major. Moran saw action during The Troubles in Northern Ireland, and took part in military activities during The Falklands War.

He left the army on a high in the early 90s and walked into the role of Chief of Operations at his father's publishing company - Moran & Sons. Today, Moran is the Chief Executive Officer at the company.

Moran & Sons is a mass media publishing house with headquarters in London responsible for over 80% of mainstream publications in the Western World. It is not a front for illicit endeavours.

Moran has fathered several children over the course of three marriages. He works closely with his youngest son, although his relationship with his remaining children would be best described as strained.

Ok I have a lot of feels about autistic Augustus so I'm just gonna unleash them on y'all.

Autistic Augustus loving the feeling of the sun in Panama because it gave him such a great sensory feeling and in Rapture he doesn't get that feeling as often and that makes him sad and he tries to recreate that feeling but so far that hasn't worked.

Autistic Augustus loving pressure on his shoulders so he wears suspenders and blazers with heavy shoulders just to get that pressure oh my goddddd tbh that's one of my things and lemme tell ya pressure on my shoulders is just heaven and Augustus loves it so much

Autistic Augustus being really echolalic which is how he manage to get the Georgian accent so quickly and how it's so thick and he uses a lot of Southern slang and phrases although he doesn't always understand them but they're so much fun to say~

Autistic Augustus's echolalia helping him learn how to speak Spanish and English because he would just repeat back what people said to him

Autistic Augustus taking the idea of self-serving a bit too literally and following Andrew Ryan's rules because that make so much sense to him, after all isn't a good thing to do something that would benefit you?

Autistic Augustus not understanding all of the metaphors and flowery language Sophia Lamb uses because it's so confusing and why is she using all of these words and making everything so complicated?

Autistic Augustus finding eye contact hard but he does do it when promising things ('I like to look a man in the eye when I give him my word') because everyone told him that's what you had to do
