their general personality

The Baron is very polite, calm, and a downright gentleman. 

their hobbies

ahh such as they are haha. Baron lives in the Cat Bureau, which is like an entity that takes on investigative issues brought to them. when he’s not working, he enjoys reading and living life, but largely his time is spent searching for the Baroness

things they like

he enjoys chatting with others and getting to explore the world. he was a statue for most of his existence and it wasn’t too long ago that he was given a soul. He intends to enjoy it as much as he can

things they dislike

He dislikes general unpleasant and rude people, or when things go too far. he enjoys muta’s company when he’s jovial but when the cat starts to get argumentative he’s tiresome, but overall he really likes muta. he also dislikes disorganization 

some things people do that annoy them

causing trouble for others. when someone doesn’t think about how their actions could affect others, and they just do whatever they want without regard. Baron finds this particularly tiresome, especially if it gets in the way of his work. he generally ignores it and carries on if he can

how easily they form friendships

hmmmm not so easily I think. Partly due to his nature and how he lives. he enjoys talking with and helping others but actually getting close to him takes a long time and many deep conversations. casual friendships are easier

how easily they get crushes

not easily at all. for one, I tend to play Baroness as his other half, but that can mean many things. overall, the concept is very foreign to him

the kind of person they get along with the best

someone who also wants to experience life and considers all it has to offer, who would have intriguing conversations with him, question the world, wants to help others, etc. 

the kind of person they get along with the worst

someone controlling and power-hungry, who just squashes others to get what they want

I really think so! baron also has his own form of magic and I think he would find Sophie a joy to talk to. he’d really admire her tenacity

Baron

I think dogs are confused af by Baron. He has the look of a cat, but he does not smell like a cat, and because he doesn’t smell like one I think I could see a few dogs making friends with him or being nice. It’d be so cute! Like, just bonds with one and rides around on their back and gets help from them if they sniff out something for him. Others, I imagine, would chase him and he’d need Toto’s help to get away. He probably has Muta or Toto’s scent on him sometimes since they’re around each other and that doesn’t help.

John Smith

John loves dogs!!! I could see him feeding strays when he goes into port and they’re probably one of the only things he likes about being docked. You can’t really bring a dog on a long boat trip but I could totally see him having a few strays he visits when he is docked. He’d totally get along with them. Funnily enough though, he might be more of a cat person. I’m not sure if this is true, but a cat on a ship would be useful if they catch mice. I’m not sure if that’s like an Actual Historical Thing though.

Kratos

Kratos definitely likes dogs. Noishe is more or less treated as a dog even though he’s a Protozoan. But Kratos found him when he was hurt (and in his form before his dog form) and that was how they bonded. He also trusts Noishe’s instincts with people he meets. In a more modern setting, I could see Kratos owning a dog that he’s really close to and probably adopted from a shelter ;o;

Link

Surprise, Link loves dogs too lol Animals, in general, are easier for Link to be around since he doesn’t have to worry about the method of communication. ngl I think it’d be really cool if botw had allowed like a dog companion. Like Fable 2? That’s def how I could see Link with a dog. 

Mikasa

I think she definitely doesn’t mind animals but, at least at first, they’re maybe more... treated coldly, like everything else that is not Eren or Armin. Cause there was that period of time when food was scarce and before they joined the training corps. And you don’t wanna get attached to your potential food source. Later on, when she doesn’t have that stress on her and gets more development, I think she could definitely get along with dogs though she might like cats more. 

Rinne

There were definitely dogs that hung around the alienage, some that were nice, and she liked those and got along with them. However, Rinne also has bad memories of dogs, from people siccing them on her or other elves, either for fun or because they felt slighted. She was really surprised when the mabari at Ostagar imprinted to her and I think... she wasn’t the best owner at first. She wasn’t the best anything during origins timeline. Ahhh I’m getting a lot of thoughts but idk how to explain them all.... I think Fang (what she named her mabari) would’ve helped her grow a bit during that time. Or at least been there to comfort her when she was alone. But she also had no problem siccing her dog on others back then. She had a lot of rage at the time....

Roland

HE’S FERELDEN HE LOVES DOGS

ok but seriously, Roland loves dogs. There were definitely some around Cousland castle, and not just the Cousland Warden’s mabari. He’d probably give the last of his scraps or just whole bits of food if a dog looked at him sad enough lol I could also def see him roughhousing with a mabari, like play wrestling and everything, not even get mad if he gets a particularly strong bite. They’re always a good pupper!!

statue height - 6inches, which is about what he is when he’s in the world normally. In the Bureau his magic might change his size ( or someone else’s?) but he prefers being small.
