She seems like a sweet dragon though

Personality-wise? Definitely. lol She’s as fluffy inside as out, and pretty pacifistic…but if she has to fight to defend herself, she learns she has to be aggressive sometimes. But has never killed someone personally.

But typically she’s pretty non-confrontational and just likes observing the wildlife around her when she’s out there.

Whats your favorite flavor of ice cream? Even popsicles and italian ice count

Also sucks it seems to no longer be a flavor sold in ice cream shops either…it was one of the few flavors I liked, since I’m not a big fan of ice cream anyway. Mostly for the lactose intolerance thing.

Compared to sizes of other dragons. How big are you roughly

It tends to vary from story to story, but usually this size. I’m using my Breath of the Wild self-insert reference sheet here for the comparison.

Or if it’s easier to picture, think of Trico from The Last Guardian.

BD/Pendara, can you speak or understand other languages ?

I know some words in other languages, but not full sentences, yes. I took a year of Spanish in school (it was required) and Latin while Home Schooled because it seemed interesting…but I haven’t practiced much, so again, not fluent and most likely I couldn’t string a sentence together. But I have found deciphering certain Latin words is possible thanks to my one year of it.

The other words I know are from video games…like Ōkami mostly. I learned some old English and about long-dead terms from games like Amnesia:The Dark Descent.

Tell me, what is your elements / powers, as a dragon ?

* Spirit/Soul Fire: Pretty useless against living creatures, but used against spirits and demons if used as an attack. Also used to shift from her Earth (planet Earth) camouflage and her true (Spirit Dragon) appearance.

* Gate Key: The Spirit (or Soul) Fire is also used as a “gate key” of sort. BD can see the other world and once she finds a “door” she uses her fire as a key to open it and pass through. For crossover things this is sometimes used for universe-hopping, but as of now that is not canon to the core story.

* Mirroring: Spirit Dragons, to make up for their inability to defend against living beings, can mirror the elemental attacks of other dragons. Either to combat that dragon, or to aid them in a battle against an opponent.

It only lasts as long as the other’s attack lasted and can only be used for that one counterattack or attack boost. When they do this, their markings also change color to match the color of the other’s element (normally lightning is a light blue-white like actual lightning, but this particular dragon demonstrating for us is special.)

Her coloring is really pretty. But what inspired to her have fluff instead of basic scales

Well several factors I think…but mostly it was inspiration seeing other people’s fluffy dragon characters and my preference for cold climates over hot. So I thought about what was more likely to survive the cold, and a furry dragon seemed more fitting. Especially if she doesn’t breathe fire.

I also wanted to be more soft and huggable, and fur is fun to draw and texture too.

Ah. Thats a fair comparison to picture.

Glad to hear it. BD is basically not “too big to move around somewhere” but not too small to defend herself or be impressive to look at either. Most dragons in the main story she’s in are about this size too give or take.
