Thinking of trying my hand at book binding, because I need another artform to try and then probably dump, right? (That’s okay, though; I don’t regret sculpting or needle felting, even though I don’t do them anymore.) First things first, I have to decide which story to try to bind. Ultimately it would be the coolest and most impressive to do a longfic, or an anthology. Something normal novel-length. But I need to remember not to get so ambitious that I’m scared away from it. So, a short story is probably the best bet. Or, maybe a few short stories. My very very minimal understanding is that you tie the pages together in batches of six sheets (making 24 pages), so I guess I should pick something that comes out to a multiple of 24. Well, time to dive back into typesetting. And then maybe dig through my scrapbooking paper.
